"Lauren meet Y/N, she raised us all." Dinah introduced her mother who took her in when no one did.
Lauren was the only normal vampire and found an interest in the gifted ones.
The girls were all of the rarest vampires in the world. They were gifted. This meant everyone feared them, everyone but this woman, Y/N.
She was human, that's what they all thought. That's what they grew up to think.
One of Dinah's earliest memories was Y/N taking her in and letting her feed off of her to survive.
"Hi, Lauren. It's nice to meet you." Y/N smiled, passing out blood bags to her four children and their newest member.
"How old are you guys." Lauren asked, her eyes still on the woman who looked a bit older than everyone else.
"I'm twenty five, Ally is twenty nine, Mani is twenty five, Dinah is twenty four, and Camila is also twenty four." Lauren furrowed her eyebrows at this.
"Don't ask how that works out." Y/N spoke, not wanting to get into details about herself.
"At what age did you find the girls?" Lauren asked which made Dinah nudge her.
"Lauren, I get that you're curious, but baby there are things I'm not comfortable sharing. But I found and adopted the girls when they were kids." Y/N looked out at the moon.
"I'm gonna go get ready for bed. Goodnight girls." Y/N spoke, drying her hands and going to her room.
"Nice going, newbie." Dinah sighed, watching her mother leave.
"I'm sorry, I was just curious. I didn't know I was overstepping." Lauren looked down at her hands that were in her lap.
"Dinah don't blame her, she didn't know." Ally stuck up for the Cuban.
"I have to go apologize." Lauren stood up, feeling Mani's hand grab her wrist.
"Dont, we're not aloud in her room past 8." Mani spoke, making Lauren even more curious about the woman.
"So what are we meant to do?" Lauren asked.
"Movies, video games, hunting, literally anything that doesn't involve being total reckless idiots." Camila spoke, tossing her empty blood bag into the trash.
Lauren nodded and joined her friends in the movie theater.
Your POV
The tears filled my eyes and I cried into my hands. All the memories came flooding back.
"You fucking witch!"
"Get her!"
I was chased into the forest by men with pitch forks and torches.
I was chased to the edge of a cliff that stood over the ocean.
I had two choices.
I jumped.
The water was ice cold as my body hit it.
It hurt.
They thought I was dead and so did I. But that burning in my chest made me swim up to the surface for air.
Strong arms lifted me up and I was saved by a beautiful witch. The witch that I was mistaken for.
"I'm sorry, I didn't think it would get this bad." She spoke, carrying me to her cabin in the woods.
That familiar cabin the girls and I live in today.
She healed my wounds and injuries, making sure I was okay.
