G!P Lauren

"Lauren, you remember Y/N?" Ally asked her coworker.

Y/N was Lauren's surrogate for her little girl, and now Lauren is Y/N's sperm donor.

They were close friends from high school and never lost touch.

Lauren was also Y/N's neighbor. Lauren lived in the apartment under her's.

Plus Y/N was Lauren's child's fourth grade teacher.

Here Y/N  is, 5 months pregnant and back for the gender reveal of the baby.

But she was alone this time.

"Where's Lucy?" Lauren asked, getting her ultrasound equipment out.

"Lucy... Uhmm, we got divorced two months ago." Y/N spoke, feeling tears form in her eyes.

Immediately Lauren stood up, apologizing.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't know."

"No, you're fine, Lauren. She decided she didnt want kids and well, she told me that if I was pregnant that I'd have to choose. So I did. I decided I didn't want to live with someone who would ever even think of forcing an abortion on someone." Y/N wiped her tears away and changed the subject.

"How's Iliana?" Lauren smiled at this, being a single mother as well.

"Well, she is still begging me to get her a puppy after seeing you with your dog at the park."

Your POV
I laughed at this, lifting my shirt so that Lauren could smear that same gel on my stomach for the ultrasound.

We both went silent as the image appeared on the screen.

"Twins." Lauren smiled, looking at the screen.

I had tears in my eyes, gazing at the picture of the two babies.

"Baby A is a boy." Ally spoke, looking at the two.

"Baby B seemed to be a stubborn little one." I chuckled as Lauren tried to get the perfect angle to see the baby.

Eventually baby B moved and Ally looked at the screen.

"Baby B is also a boy." I wiped my tears away at this, my smile never leaving my lips.

Twins. I'm having twins.

"Congrats, Y/N!" Ally hugged me as soon as I pulled my shirt down.

I smiled and accepted her hug.

"Thank you two so much!" I thanked them, hugging both women.

"Always, Y/N. You helped me, remember?" I smiled at Lauren's response.

"We want you back for your monthly check up." I looked at my schedule.

"How about the twenty seventh?" Ally asked, making me nod.

"Yeah, I'm free all day." She nodded and set that date.

"How about lunch?" Lauren asked, making me smile.

This was our thing. After every appointment we'd have lunch together.

"Sure." She clocked out and we met up at our usual diner.

Lauren ordered for me, already knowing my order by heart.

I smiled at this and we talked about simple things until my phone rang.

Lucy's name flashed on the screen and I sighed.

"She's still reaching out to you?" I turned my phone completely off.
