She fell from the sky, her wings outstretched to try to help but she hit the ground, hard.

Lauren at the time was on her late night walk when she came across the shimmery, winged, being.

With a shaking hand Lauren gently stroked the cheek of the woman.

"H-Holy shit..." the touch showed her that what she was seeing was indeed real.

So she did what any sane person would and helped the girl, taking her to her house which she thankfully lived alone in.

She laid the beautiful being on the table, tending to the wounds that scattered around her body.

Lauren's eyes went to the wings of the girl, gently running her fingers over the soft feathers.

They were so soft.

The skin of the being seemed to shimmer with a golden glitter of some sort.

Lauren touched the skin of the woman, feeling a rush as soon as it rubbed onto her skin.

It had healed the cut on her hand completely.

Lauren jumped when she saw the being begin to move.

Lauren cursed herself for not reacting to the movement but as soon as her eyes met those golden rimmed irises she couldn't move.

The being winced, examining her wings.

"So much for a safe landing." Y/N sighed, moving her hands to cover the wounds on her wings.

A golden light with golden glitters shimmered over where her hand was. Within seconds the wounds began to heal.

"What are you?" Y/N seemed startled at the sudden voice.

She jumped, curling up into herself.

"You're a human! Oh my glitters! I shouldn't be here!" Y/N shot up, panicking because she knew that if she stayed on earth for too long that her wings would begin to turn black.

"Wait, what's your name?" Lauren asked, calling out to the being who rushed out the door as quick as possible.

Y/N stopped in her tracks, cursing herself for being so thoughtless.

She turned to the raven haired beauty.

"I'm Y/N. I'm an angel. I sorta crash landed here on my way to deliver some news. I'm sorry for the trouble. Here." Y/N plucked one of her feathers, giving it to the Cuban.

"It'll serve as an apology." Lauren furrowed her eyebrows but gently took the token.

In seconds her body began to heal.

"It heals you and gives you luck as long as you have it with you." Y/N gave the Cuban a small smile.

"I'll see you soon, Lauren." Lauren furrowed her eyebrows at this.

"How do you know my- name...." she sighed, watching the angel disappear into the night.

The next morning Lauren woke, swearing that what she remembered was a dream. But as soon as her fingers met that soft plush of the feather on her nightstand she knew it wasn't.

"Y/N." Lauren smiled as the name rolled off of her tongue.

It seemed familiar.

There was something about the girl's aura that brought a sense of reminiscence and tranquility to her.

Y/N just seemed familiar. Not like Lauren had met her before, but like she had dreamt of her before.

Lauren smiled as she did her morning routine, feeling happier than she had been in months.
