Lauren didn't pay any mind to the figure holding a camera a few feet away from her and her best friend.
It was probably another hired paparazzi from her label.
She got a new one every week or so.
What did catch her attention was the person behind the camera asking a question.
"May I take a photo of you?" The voice was female, there was no doubt about that.
Lauren met eyes with the woman when she took the camera away from her face.
Lucy was staring at the woman as well.
"Yes." Lauren smiled at the friendly woman.
Lucy seemed to have a liking toward the woman right away. Probably because of how attractive she was.
Lauren continued her conversation with her friend and heard a few clicks of the camera.
"Here." The camera woman gave the device to Lauren to look over the pictures.
"Are any of these okay? I just want to make sure you're okay with them. I don't want to accidentally leak anything you don't want me to." Lauren smiled at the girl's thoughtfulness.
Her green eyes went to the photos. They were beautiful... Lucy and Lauren were only sitting at a bench in a park but the woman made the scene look so incredibly beautiful.
"They're all so beautiful, I'm fine with you posting any of them... but do you mind sending them to me?" Lauren asked, looking at the photos, amazed.
"Sure!" The beautiful woman smiled, taking her camera back from the Cuban.
Lauren watched the woman sit on a bench a bit further away.
"Jeez, your new stalker cameraman is hot. Or should I say camerawoman." Lauren rolled her eyes at her best friend.
"Oh shut it, you're supposed to be my pretend girlfriend remember?" Lucy groaned.
"That's tomorrow during the photo shoot. After that I'm back to Miami." Lauren nodded and let her eyes gravitate back to the woman who was looking at the nature around her.
Lauren watched how the girl took photos of the most simplest things, but she seemed so interested, so passionate.
Lauren wondered how the girl landed this job when she was supposed to be somewhere exotic, photographing amazing things.
Lauren heard the girl's footsteps behind her and Lucy, not minding them.
When Lucy left, Lauren's eyes went to the girl.
"What's your name?" The girl seemed startled by Lauren's voice.
"Uh.. I'm Y/N." Y/N smiled, putting her camera in its case.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N." Lauren smiled back and let the girl walk beside her back to the hotel.
"I just want you to know that I won't ever take any photos of you without your permission. You deserve as much privacy as you can have and I respect that. With your permission, I will still run the photos by you. You still have a say in what I do and do not post." Lauren knew that this time she wouldn't have another stuck up photographer that just took pictures every five minutes without her permission.
"Thank you." Y/N gave her a nod and turned her attention back to the nature around them.
When they arrived at the hotel, they parted ways into their separate rooms but Lauren's mind was still on the girl.
She had never met a hired paparazzi that was so genuine, it intrigued her.
The next day Lauren was in the building of her manager's office where she overheard the man yelling.
