"We've been looking for you everywhere." I was outside the venue smoking a cigarette when my ex girlfriend and daughter came over.

"Mommy!" My eyes lit up.

"Hi Princess!" I smiled immediately, tossing the cigarette on the floor.

She reached for me and I happily took her in my arms.

"You've gotten so big, oh my gosh!" I span her around, not missing the way Lucy's eyes seem to sparkle at the sight.

I kissed my daughter's cheek, making her giggle.

"She's all your's for the weekend like always." I smiled, nodding my head.

"I get to see Auntie Lolo?!" I nodded my head.

"Yes baby! And Auntie Ashley!" She squealed and I smiled immediately at that.

"Y/N." I turned to look at my ex girlfriend.

"I miss you." I sighed.

"Luce, you and I both know that we aren't good for each other. We have to stay strong, for Lana." I spoke, pushing Lana's hair away from her face.

"Princess, why don't you go inside and surprise your aunties? I'm sure they'd love to see you." She nodded her head rapidly and as soon as I set her onto her feet she was sprinting inside.

I smiled at this, knowing that there was security inside to protect her if need be.

I felt lips on mine. Warm lips. I won't deny that I missed them.

She cupped my cheek and I pulled away, making her sigh.

"Please, give me another chance, baby." I looked down at the ground.

"I-.... I just don't trust you anymore, Lucy...." she lifted my chin, forcing me to meet her gaze.

"I love you.... I never stopped loving you. What Keana and I had was just sex." I shook my head, eyes filling with tears at the memory of finding my girlfriend in bed with another girl.

"I-I just can't, Lucy... you don't understand."

"Then help me understand." Her lips met mine and this time she was desperate.

I pulled away immediately.

"I can't because I can't take being broken again! You don't know how close I was to..." the tears fell freely.

"Y/N? Are you okay, baby?" Lauren came out of the venue, rushing to me when she saw how heartbroken I looked.

"Lauren, this is none of your business." Lucy spoke, glaring at the green eyed girl.

"Please baby, just trust me." She cupped my cheek and I let the tears fall freely.

"I- can't Lucy. I'm sorry.." I pulled away from the woman, going to Lauren immediately.

She brought me inside and I was forced to wipe my tears and put on a fake smile for my daughter.

"Hey princess." I smiled at her, helping her and Ashley do a puzzle.

Lauren had this look in her eye and I knew we'd have to talk sooner or later about what happened.

"Mommy?" I pushed her hair out of her face.

"Yes, baby?" She tried to fit the puzzle piece in the space.

"I don't like when Mama leaves." I sighed.

"I know baby, but your mama and I-"

"No, Mommy. When she leaves me with aunt Keana." I furrowed my eyebrows.
