School was a drag and all I wanted to do was go home, eat some food, and take a nap. As Julie and I finally got home, we went straight to her room only to see the three ghosts snooping through her things. "So much for personal space I guess," I said startling the guys. They all looked at each other, hoping that one of them would come up with a good enough excuse to explain why their in here.
Luke who was in the far corner by Julie's shelves spoke quickly, "We were looking for the kitchen."
I gave him a bored look, "Hm I don't recall anyone having a kitchen upstairs. Unless the person is extremely rich." I smiled at him, making him give me a lop-sided grin. He fully knew that his sorry ass excuse wouldn't go by Julie.
Julie points a finger to the guys that are frozen in their spots, "This... This can't happen. It's creepy. Get off my bed, please," Reggie was fast to get off her bed. He was scared that she might scream at him again for invading her privacy.
"Hey Julie," Luke raised his hand as if he was talking to a teacher, "What's in the box?" I was hoping that he wouldn't press on the matter because that box was very special to Julie, even I don't know what's exactly in the box.
"That's off limits," Julie spoke sternly.
"Oh okay," he starts chuckling, "Girl stuff."
Reggie took a few seconds to think of what could be in the small wooden box, "Like butterflies and glitter?"
I rolled my eyes, "No. How about maybe like pads and tampons."
His eyes widen and his face turned red, when I told him of things that could be in it. Julie slapped me in the arm, making me turn to her with a pout.
Alex looked at his two, very stupid, friends, "I'm sorry about them."
"It's none of your business," Julie crosses her arms. "And yes, there may be some glitter."
Alex called out, earning everyone's attention on him to see him holding onto the photo of Julie and Rose. His excitement was short lived because the picture he was once holding of was now dropped onto the bed.
I scanned the guys in confusion, "How can you guys pick up your instruments with no problem but can't pick up anything else?"
Luke lets out a frustrated sigh, "I know it's hard but for some reasons our instruments, easy."
"Yeah like super easy. Oh and check out what I learned today," Reggie made his guitar appear out of nowhere and falls back on the couch at the sudden weight.
Luke smiled at his friend, "It's like I always thought, our instruments are attached to our souls."
"Hey," we all glanced at the door to see Ray entering the room, "Everything okay?" Julie and I say we're completely fine but he didn't fully believe us, "I thought I heard you guys talking to someone."
"Nope Mr. Molina. It just us talking to each other. You know just the norm," I gave him a convincing smile that made him leave.
I turned back to the guys to see Reggie opening his mouth, "Nope! If you want to talk to us, we need to go to the studio. Ray is already worried as is about Julie, we don't need him to think she's gone over the edge."
"He seems chill. Just tell him about us," Luke tried to explain.
I shake my head as Julie looked at him, "You're kidding right. This past year, everyone's been watching over me being super nice, as if they're waiting for me to snap. If I tell my dad I met a ghost band, I'll be back to talking to Dr. Turner three days a week."
Luke shifts his weight nervously, "You probably shouldn't tell him," he walked back to the box, "Julie-"
"OH MY GOSH! I told you to leave that alone," Julie screamed making me jump.
