In a blink of an eye, Julie and I stood in our dressing rooms getting ready for our first real big performance. This set could change our lives entirely. We could actually make a huge name for ourselves if we show the audience that we are meant to be on that stage. Our whole lives, music has been an important part of it. Julie and her mom bonded over music, constantly making music together. My parents met at a Sunset Curve concert, maybe it was fate that the guys found me, to let me know that my family is watching me. My grandma was a Broadway singer, passed down her love of music to my mom, who then passed down the same love to Nate and I.

This night, the Orpheum, was something that Nate was dreaming of ever since we first were able to sing a single note. He was beyond serious about our music career, making music every single chance he got. I remember our father yelling playfully at him to get out of his room and to stop writing for at least an two hours so we all could have that time to spend together, because my father always told us 'we don't know how much time we have together.' Although he meant Nate and I leaving the nest to go to college, not them actually dying. The weekend that they died, we spent at the lake house and Nate used that time to write our debut album that was suppose to be released today, the day of our 16th birthday. Guess god has a different plan for me and for Nate.

I have this undeniable pressure on my shoulders tonight because this was supposed to be Nate's night. Basking in the ambiance of the loud cheering and adoration he would get after performing. Nate always told me that he wanted greatness for us, especially for me. For some reason, he was determined to make sure that I would have my name written in lights outside of arenas. Nate was always pushing me further, even though it was his dream to become a rock star. Yes, we did share the same dream of being rock stars, but Nate always put me first before him, he always did the big brotherly thing. He was my rock through thick and thin, my defender, my protector, my supporter, my best friend.... my twin brother.

This night has to be perfect for him.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of knocking, "Hey Julie. I've got your roadie."

Julie looked over at me quickly, seeing how I was deep in thought, "Come in."

"Holograms are good to go, boss," Flynn said as she strutted in the room.
