Leaf was sitting in his cage (Which was HIGHLY unnecessary, he and Ici-Winter were getting along... stupid untrusting dragons) under a pile of fur blankets that still smelled like the animal who produced them. He had started to get used to the dragons everywhere, though he was technically still a prisoner, despite his friends, (or friend, non-plural) But still missed Wren, and Daffodil, and Sky, and Ivy...
That lead him to Ivy's goal. To create peace between Dragons and humans, although now the brown and golden dragon weren't the only ones who could help. Winter was a little grumpy, but leaf had worked on talking him into a scavenger-human village, and to that, he scoffed,
"I'll do that when I confess my love to a NightWing...AND HYBRIDS DON'T COUNT!" So. That didn't go as planned.
But Desert Moon was perfectly willing to help... as long as the murderous scavengers who killed queen oasis and- to leaf's dismay- their family, weren't allowed, just to be safe. So. back to plan a. Escape. maybe bring desert Moon with him, and winter, if he could. Introduce them to Ivy, lets them see how wonderful she was, and immediately create peace...! If, that is desert moon would lt her father rt in stone and if winter eve agreed to leave the loudmouth Desert Dragon
Leaf sighed and decided to sneak into the "hospital" which was mostly Rainforest Dragons giving you sleeping fruit and Swamp Dragpns swapping your injury. He squeezed through the bar and climbed down he rocky slopes, and hiding behind stalagmites whenever he heard talons. eventually he made it to the hospital, where a few new patients had been brought in, one of them looked like a rightwing, although the snout was a bit off, and the entire room was filled with the smell of ash. Desert Moon was nowhere to be seen. Of course, He thought She would want as little dragons to see her as possible, nd neshe knew she was in the safe of not dying, she's off.
About half an hour and 3 Winter-roaring-and-coming-after-hims later, he found Desert Moon in a cave, not far off from her dad's, yet still secluded from the rest of the mountain. she was holding a sapphire, the same one, it seemed like the one Ivy had given to the golden dragon I know the golden dragon is here, he thought, then, when he thought back more he realized it was the same one the grumpy sky wing with the melted fae had given him. Come to think of it, how did HE gt it? Desert Moon had an odd expression n that he had only seen on Winter before... and the one he had on himself when Ivy's around. I that...Love? Do dragons really have the capability to love each other? Not that he was surprised, after all he had learned. He wanted to wake her up, t talk to her, but she looked so happy... so he decided to bother that fossil instead. He sauntered into the cave and sat down right in front of Unmoving stone's snout.
"grrroooooooouw," he growled slowly, the did a dragon sigh.
"so you're saying Desert Moon is too far away," he concluded.
Unmoving tilted his head, well tried to, there was a dangerous cracking sound in his neck when he tried to, so he immediately put it back. "rrou"
"I agree," Leaf said, Then stood up and left the room.
