Day five.
"Graduation is nearing~" Suzy chimed. I sighed lowly through my nose as I clutched onto my notebook even tighter than before.
"I can't believe it." Ji-Eun spoke, "It's like we just started the twelfth grade, and I can't believe we are graduating in like, twelve days."
"I feel numb." Chungha muttered.
It is true. We are graduating in twelve days, since our graduation is on April 11. Today is March 31, a Monday. April 11 is on a Friday, which is already next week. Time flies so fast.
"I'm glad they aren't giving homework, because it does become tiring just doing homework to boost our grades up." Suzy said, "But, I think we will receive our report cards this Friday."
"I feel that my grades have decreased, since I've been so busy on my personal life, but who cares. Grades don't define you." Chungha spoke with a wave of her hand.
"True." Ji-Eun agreed.
"What'd you think, Hyun?"
I snapped out of my thoughts, turning to look at them. They all were looking at me with eyes that waited for an answer. "Sorry, I was thinking." I apologized.
"About?"
I sighed, "I don't know, personal life, I guess." They all nodded, agreeing to my statement since everyone has been busy with different types of problems: life, family, love-life, and of course, personal.
"But, can't you believe it?" Ji-Eun spoke, "We are moving onto a new chapter of our life, it's like we are ending this long, really long chapter."
"Can't believe it either." Chungha agreed.
Ji-Eun waved to all of us as we entered our own separate classrooms. Students were talking with one another, and I let out a sigh as I plopped down onto my chair, taking out a textbook, and flipping to the lesson which I wasn't finished reading.
"Hey."
I looked up to see Mi-Reum. "Hi."
"Hana misses you a lot." She spoke, "She was wondering if you both could see each other, but I said that we were all busy, but you could probably see each other in the summer time."
I nodded, "Yes, graduation is a stress pill on all of us. But, I miss her too. I can't wait to see her too." Mi-Reum nodded, acknowledging me, before walking away.
I tore my eyes away from her figure, looking down again at my book. I used my finger to guide me in reading since the page was full of words, and I could easily get lost if I didn't have a finger or a pencil tip as a guide.
More and more students filled the classroom, adding more to the noise around my surroundings. I groaned lightly as I leaned my elbow onto the desk, using my hand to cover my right ear from all the noise.
That was when silence dawned onto the classroom. I removed my hand in slight confusion as I looked up, seeing Miss. Lim enter the classroom. She had her laptop bag with her as she walked into the room, looking confident as ever.
"Good morning, class." She greeted, "I hope you all had a splendid weekend. Please do take out your textbooks and turn to where we last left off."
I didn't have to look for my book since I was already reading it. I giggled to myself as I watched Miss. Lim prepare in front of the classroom. I tore my eyes from the board as I watched Jungkook walk in with Eun Woo.
"Ah, Mr. Jeon." Miss. Lim acknowledged, "It's good to see that you are coming early to class now a days. But, please do come earlier than I do, so that you won't be marked absent by the class secretary."
