Friday rolled in, and ever since I entered the school, Jungkook has been giving me harsh glares, even his friends were giving me looks. I felt little under them, that I immediately would look away whenever I meet eye contact with anyone of them.
Ji-Eun was busy at the office, while it seemed that Suzy was going to be late, which meant that I was going to be sitting by myself, and wait patiently for Suzy to come and arrive.
"Hey."
I look up to see Eun Woo sitting beside me. I forgot that he's my seatmate. "Hi."
"Where's Suzy?" He asked.
"I guess she's late today." I replied.
"That means, I can talk with you."
"You can always talk to me?"
"You're busy with Ji-Eun and Suzy, so.."
"Oh. I'm sorry, about that." I immediately apologize, feeling shy under his gaze.
"No worries." Eun Woo replied, waving his hand. "So, how did the shopping go? I bet it must've been tiring trying on different types of clothes."
I laughed, "How'd you know?"
"My mom takes a million years to try and pick out clothes. Today's her birthday, so I guess it is kinda acceptable." Eun Woo explained.
"Oh? Tell her I said happy birthday." I spoke.
"Thank you, and I will." He answered.
"Well, trying on clothes isn't tiring. What's tiring is having two of your friends pick out your clothes and fight about it." I said.
Eun Woo laughed, catching the attention of others. Some girls giggled seeing him laugh. I bit my inner lip and decide to just focus on Eun Woo.
"I guess so." Eun Woo spoke as he wiped away stray tears that left his eyes. I smiled, I am not a person who makes people laugh, so it was a relief that I made someone laugh.
"Hyunnie!"
I turn around to see Suzy walking over to me, I smiled at her as I gave a small wave, she waved back at me before she sat in front of me.
"Hi, Hyunnie." Suzy greeted. Hyunnie? "I hope you don't mind me calling you 'Hyunnie', it's my new nickname for you."
"It's fine." I answered. Suzy smiled at me, then she turned towards Eun Woo.
"Uhm." He muttered. "Is it okay that I talked with her while you weren't around?"
"Yeah, of course." Suzy answered. "Hyunnie can talk to whoever she wants to, and Ji-Eun and I can't say or do anything about it because it's her life."
He smiled, "That's good to know."
Miss. Lim entered the classroom, and as soon as she placed her things on the teacher's table, Jungkook along with his friends entered the classroom.
I looked around to find girls putting extra layers of lip-gloss if not lipstick, and making their chests obvious. They were doing everything for him to notice them.
But, Jungkook didn't notice them.
Jungkook looked at me before he rolled his eyes and purposely dragged his bag over my shoulder. I looked at the place where his bag dragged over, and sighed.
Suzy turned around and glared at Jungkook. I didn't see what was Jungkook's reaction because I didn't turn around, and honestly, I don't wanna know.
"Good morning class." Miss. Lim greeted. "So, last week, Miss. Kang has given you and your partner a task. I hope that you have finalized the task, since you will be presenting them today."
