My eyes widened in shock as I stepped back wards, but I tripped and fell onto the floor with a thud. My breathing paused in my chest as my fingers started to tremble.

"Hyun?" I heard Namjoon call out for me from behind. I turned around and once he saw me, he immediately rushed to me.

He helped me stand up, which I quietly thank him for, and looked down at my bag which was on the floor. "What's wrong? Was something in the way?"

I pointed at the table with a shaky finger, not able to emit any words from my mouth. He looked at the table, and read the exact same paper that I read.

His expression fell, but I saw as he took a sharp breath and turned to me. I looked at him, inhaling a small breath. He gave me a sad smile.

Namjoon tucked a strand of hair from my face. His face washed over with worry as he saw the worry, fear, and shock still evident on my face.

"What's wrong, Hyun?" Namjoon asked.

I couldn't answer.

He then led me to the couch, as we sat beside each other. I fiddled with my fingers before I felt a tear drop onto my finger. I immediately wipe away the tear onto my skirt, before I felt Namjoon take my jaw into his hand, and slowly made me face him.

Namjoon sighed lowly as he used the pad of his thumbs to remove any tears that left my eyes. I inhaled sharply. "Seohyun, listen to me.

I know that what we're going through is a hard time, but trust me that good things will happen in the future. All we have to do is wait, okay? Just trust in me, and that better days will come."

Better days will come. I repeated his words inside my mind. I blinked as I nodded and wiped away my own tears, Namjoon smiled.

"Smile for Joonie." He whispered as he removed any stray tears from my cheeks.

I gave into his command and gave a small, but real smile. Namjoon smiled even more wider as he saw my smile and pecked my forehead. I took in deep breathes to regulate my breathing again.

This continued on for a few minutes. Namjoon only rubbed his hand up and down my back to comfort me, which I appreciate a lot.

"Feeling better?" Namjoon asked. I gave a small nod as a sign that I was feeling a bit better, and he smiled at that, knowing that I was doing better.

"I feel tired." I spoke out of the blue.

"You cried, silly." Namjoon teased. "Crying takes a lot of energy, and it will really make you feel tired after. Do you want to go to sleep early tonight?"

I nodded. He nodded as he lifted me up and made his way towards the stairs. My eyes tried not to look at the paper that was on the table, but my heart stung as we passed it.

❖ ❖ ❖

The Jeon's have been silent. Jungkook hasn't gone to school lately, even his friends have been quiet about what happened lately. I was too occupied about everything happening in my life that I didn't really mind about Jungkook's life.

Jang-Mi hasn't returned to school either. From what I've heard, she is still in the hospital, and is slowly recovering. Her friends have been super quiet as well.

Ji-Eun nor Suzy haven't mind about that. I was shocked when they said that they really didn't mind about Jang-Mi and Jungkook's absence, but I guess they are correct since we aren't friends with them.
