Thirty-seven

"My heart! Seohyun you look so beautiful!"

"W-What?" I stuttered. "N-No."

"Yes!" Suzy continued. "I mean- Ji-Eun! Chungha! Come over here! Come look at Hyun! I swear that she won't waste your time!"

There were murmurs, before Ji-Eun and Chungha walked over. Their eyes were resting, but when they saw me- their eyes widened. Ji-Eun was frozen, while Chungha squealed like a 4-year old receiving candy.

"Oh." Chunga started.

"My." Ji-Eun continued.

"God." They both ended.

"W-What? Is something wrong?" I asked.

"No." Ji-Eun deadpanned. "Hyun.."

"You're."

"Beautiful!" Suzy joined.

I squeaked, hiding my face behind my hands. Ji-Eun, Suzy and Chungha laughed as a faint tint of pink made it's way up my neck and cheeks. That was when I heard the clinking and clanking of shoes walking into the room.

I heard a gasp which caused me to look up, to see a woman looking at me in shock. She looked a lot like Suzy, making me think it's her mother- and being honest, she is very beautiful.

"Suzy, dear." The woman called. "Who is this? She is extremely beautiful, I apologize for only coming home now."

"This is Seohyun." Suzy said. "My best friend, and isn't she beautiful?" Suzy skipped towards me, "Tada~"

"She is." The woman exclaimed. "I don't see a lot of beautiful girls now a days who haven't gone through surgery- and I could tell that you, dear, are a natural beauty."

I blushed. The woman smiled. "I'm Suzy's mother, and you can just Mrs. Bae. I don't know what to say, I'm absolutely beautified by you." She said, extending her hand.

I smiled a bit, shaking her hand. "It's nice to meet you, Mrs. Bae." I spoke, smiling.

"I've surely met Ji-Eun before, and I've seen Chungha at the salon- but I never saw you before." Mrs. Bae spoke.

"You've seen Chungha before?" Suzy asked.

"Yes." Chungha replied. "Why do you think we clicked off easily? I knew you looked a lot like Mrs. Bae, and when I saw you- I knew you both were related."

Suzy was wide-eyed. Ji-Eun chuckled as she leaned beside me. I smiled at her, before I looked at the clock: 1:45 PM. I looked back at her, and she sensed that we needed to leave.

"Excuse us." Ji-Eun spoke. "Mrs. Bae, we thank you a lot for the makeup and hair, but we need to be going." Mrs. Bae looked at the clock.

"Oh!" She gasped. "Of course! I am so sorry you got caught up with my chattering. Have fun at the party, girls!"

I bowed at her politely, Mrs. Bae offered me a smile, before the four of us rushed towards Suzy's bedroom. As soon as we did enter, of course I was still shocked with how pretty her room is and always will be.

"Hyunnie, snap out of it!"

"Sorry." I apologized, collecting my duffel of clothes before walking out of the room with Suzy, with her right behind me.

We all piled into the car, with Suzy's driver driving us towards the event hall. Yes, the party is going to be hosted in an event hall, and I even thought it will be held in school.

As soon as the five of us (including the driver) piled into the car, we all buckled ourselves up, the driver immediately stepping onto it. We also made sure that our hair won't get messed up.
