I am a nerd, while Jungkook is the senior bad boy- and the fact that I like him just makes my insides twist and tighten. I never expected to like my ex-bestfriend, and someone who bullies me. No, I never expected this to happen.
Yes, I never expected it, but here I am now, standing in front of my house, around 1 in the morning, just to wait for him. How brilliant.
It was cold, alright. It was snowing lightly, and since it is already January, but winter would be lasting until the end of February. Though I am not a fan of winter, I can't deny it is beautiful.
I heard the sound of a door being closed. I looked across the street, to see Jungkook closing the door of his house. My heart started beating faster as he walked towards me.
Jungkook then nudged his head into a direction, that was when I realized we were walking back to Mrs. Jeon's car. Once I saw Jungkook open the driver's seat, I froze.
"What?" Jungkook asked. "I'm not going to kidnap you, come, let's go." I hesitantly pulled the passenger seat door open, sitting right beside Jungkook.
Jungkook didn't mind though as he buckled himself up. I blinked before I buckled myself up as well. It's been a while since I sat in the passenger seat beside the driver, so I feel kind of uncomfortable since it's been a while.
Being the youngest in my family, I was always sitting at the back. She would be in the front, while Taehyung and Namjoon were beside me. Taehyung on the left side, Namjoon on the right, and I would be in the middle.
That was when the car came to life, I jolted a bit as Jungkook pulled out of the drive way and started driving. I sucked in a deep breath and looked out the window, watching snow fall.
The soft music playing from the radio was the only thing heard in the car. I didn't mind though, since it was relaxing and comforting to my ears. I glanced over to Jungkook, to see him concentrating on driving.
"I'm 18, Seohyun." Jungkook spoke. "The legal age to drive here is 16, and I got my driver's license last year, you don't have to be hesitant."
I nodded a bit, not too affirming, but not hesitantly as well. I realized that we were in the city of Seoul, and the place around us was familiar. I looked at Jungkook, to see a small smirk etched on his face.
That was when he looked around, trying to find a parking spot, I guess. I alerted myself as Jungkook parked the car and unbuckled myself. He hopped out of the car, while I followed close to him.
As soon as I got out, I heard a few whistles. I turned my head to the sound, to see three men eyeing me. I gulped as my eyes widened, feeling my heartbeat quicken at the second.
That was when I felt an arm wrap around my waist, bringing me close to their body. I looked up to see Jungkook glaring at those men, scoffing while rolling his eyes.
"Eyes off, she's not an object for you to eye."
"She isn't yours either." One of them retorted.
"Did I say she wasn't?" He shot back. "She isn't yours, nor anyone's, so eyes off. Her eyes are up here, not down there."
The three men laughed a bit before disappearing into the darkness. My mind was a bit disoriented by what had happened. I looked up at Jungkook, to see him leading us towards the coffee shop.
The coffee shop which we were going to now, was the coffee shop Jungkook and I went to last time to review together. The coffee shop was also open 24/7, which was a good thing because people now a days have a lot on their minds.
