Christmas Eve, the fire burning, the hot coco boiling on the stove, the tree glistening in the family room, it all felt perfect.

I woke up happier than ever, I got out of bed quickly and grabbed my presents to wrap.

I started with my father, Elijah, and Rebekah. I got them matching bracelets that said, "Always and Forever" their family motto. I wrapped their individual boxes and set them aside, writing their names on it so I didn't mix it up.

Next up, Damon and Elena, I got them two gifts, one was a joke. The joke was a baby doll so they could "train" for their upcoming child. If they were even going to have one. Their actual present was some cute decor for their house they just bought together.

Stefan was up, I got him this painting he's been watching, he likes covering his walls in art. It was expensive, but luckily I can compel people...he just wouldn't know that part.

Hayley's gift was a necklace with the letter H on it, so she knew even if she was separated from Hope, she was always with her. Hopes gift was just some baby clothes, since my father couldn't pick out anything cute at all.

I got my mom this new blender she's wanted, she's that type of mom who loves making smoothies every morning, but our worn out blender from hundreds of years ago wasn't cutting it.

Lastly, Draco's gift. His was a green ring, a snake on it, with a D on the band. I wrapped all of their gifts, and hid them under my bed.

We didn't have to go anywhere until tonight, Damon and Elena insisted on hosting our party since they just moved into their new home. So I got ready and went downstairs for breakfast.

I sat at the table and my mom passed around pancakes shaped like Christmas trees. "Thank you, these look great!" They tasted great as well. After eating I sat on the couch and put on my favorite Christmas movie, The Christmas Chronicles. Draco sat beside me, and everyone went upstairs, most likely to wrap presents.

"This is my first happy Christmas." He said, "What do you mean?" I ask. "Usually my mother and I exchange gifts, my father is nowhere to be found, and then we act like nothing ever happened. We don't even decorate." "That's the whole point of Christmas! To be together as a family, and give to others." "Not with the Malfoy's." "Well looks like you'll be spending the holidays with the Mikaelson's." We smiled at each other and finished the movie.

"Draco, Y/n, get ready for the party! We have to leave soon." My mother called down, I got up and went to my room. I curled my hair and put on light makeup, then I went to my closet to find my outfit.

I had bought this beautiful red velvet dress, it fit me perfectly and complimented my body type perfectly. I looked stunning, and felt stunning.

I walk out of my room and run into Draco on my way out. He wore a white long sleeved dress shirt, black dress pants and shoes, with a red and green flannel tie.

"Wow...I-I'm sorry." He stutters, "No worries, you look great Malfoy." "Same to you.." He eyed me up and down. "Enjoying the view I see, remember, you have a girlfriend." "Yeah right."

We went downstairs and see everyone running around frantically, grabbing presents and putting them in the car. We all hopped into the car and drove to Damon and Elena's house.

We arrived, and brought all our presents inside and placing them by the tree.

"Hey you guys! I made dinner, it's ready over here." Elena welcomed us, their house was beautiful, it was decorated perfectly, and it felt very comfortable and homey.

Everyone sat at the table, and began to eat. I sat next to Draco, Rebekah on my other side. Elena made turkey, chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and many other foods. I filled up every last bit of my stomach with delicious food. Then waited for everyone else to finish.

Soon after, time came to open presents. We all sat in a circle, and sorted out the presents. It was time for everyone to open my presents.

Hayley went first, she opened the box to see the necklace. "Oh my gosh, thank you so much, I love it." She teared up, which made me feel accomplished. She also opened Hope's and thanked me again.

My mom opened hers next. "Y/n! You did not- Thank you!" She seemed to be pleased with her blender.

"This is perfect Y/n, thank you." Stefan said, after opening his painting.

Damon and Elena opened their "baby" first. "Oh my word- I can't with you." Damon laughed, the whole room erupted with laughter, I even saw Draco giggle. Then they opened their decorations. "Thank you so much!"

Finally, the three originals opened their gift. They all cried, it was somewhat rewarding. "This is amazing." Rebekah said, which made my heart leap.

They all left to do an "adult gift exchange". Whatever that meant. It was only Draco and I, so I thought it was the perfect time to give him his gift.

"Hey Draco, here's your present." I handed him the small box. He opened it and teared up...

"This is the ring my mom gave me when I was 9...I lost it and I've attacked myself ever since." My heart melted, "Thank you." He said, I pulled him into a hug. "Of course."

He handed me a box, the same size as I gave him. I opened it and saw a ring, how ironic. It was silver with my birth stone in-crested. It also had the first initial of my name imprinted. "Oh my gosh it's beautiful, thank you Draco."

We hugged once again, and he dried his eyes. Now we waited on the couch, and talked. It was the first decent conversation we've had in a while. It was nice, refreshing.

It felt right.
