It was the day we returned to Hogwarts, it was a great break, perfect to be honest. Back to reality.

Draco and I waved goodbye to my parents, and boarded the train. We sat next to each other, and spoke for a while.

"Are you excited to see Astoria?" I asked, "I guess. She never pays attention to me unless I'm shagging her." "Oh."

"Are you excited to see Mattheo?" "Yeah, we've gotten pretty close." "I can tell." His answers were short, he must've not wanted to talk. I stared out the window instead of making him speak when he wasn't up for it.

The ride was over soon, and we got off the train. We walked into Hogwarts and went straight to the common room. Class restarted tomorrow, so today was a free day. I mutter the password and run over to Blaise. I hugged him, and he returned it.

"How was your guys' break?" He asked. "Fun, Y/n is a very good hostess." Draco responded, "Yeah it was great." I say. Mattheo and Astoria run down the steps behind him, running towards us.

"Y/N!" Astoria shrieked, I ran to her and hugged her. "I missed you so much." She whispered, "Same here girly." I squeeze her again and loosen my grip. She turns to Draco but doesn't hug him, she just fake smiles and goes to Blaise. Did they break up over break? Did Draco not tell me? I look to the blonde boy and he looks just as confused as I am.

"Hey Mattheo!" I say, I hug him tightly and he does the same. "I missed you so much." He doesn't say anything back. He just smiles and sits on the couch. Why was everyone so weird?

Everyone sat on the couch, Astoria sat next to Mattheo instead of Draco, so he sat next to me. "What's going on?" He whispered to me, I whispered back saying, "I don't know. Somethings up."

"I'm getting very much, negative energy from this area." Blaise said, and Astoria shifted awkwardly. "Draco can I talk to you?" Astoria asked, Draco nodded and they walked out in the hallway.

"Anyways, I got a boat." Blaise spoke while holding up a toy boat, Mattheo and I busted out laughing before Mattheo stopped and sat silently. Astoria ran in bawling her eyes out, going to her dorm and slamming the door. Draco walked in after her, his eyes red.

"What happened?" I ask. "She cheated Y/n. SHE FUCKING CHEATED!" He screamed. I pull him into the hall and wrap my arms around him. "Hey hey, breathe. Tell me everything. I'll listen." I said trying to calm him anyway possible.

"W-when we were gone...she shagged Mattheo. She was 'lonely' and he was 'heartbroken' I can't do this Y/n I can't." He broke down, his tears puddling on my shoulder. We slid down the wall and I rubbed his back. I was so furious with Mattheo. He's being a hypocrite.

"She's not worth your tears. She made the biggest mistake of her life." I comforted him. "I didn't even like her. Y/n, I dated her because I missed you. I thought she could satisfy me, get my mind off of you, but nothing can. Nothing works. I didn't even want to date her, so why does this hurt so badly?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I froze. I hugged him, but my eyes were stuck wide open.

I didn't know what to think. I didn't know if I did like him, or if he was just a friend. I loved talking to him, and we were kind of together at the beginning of the year...I feel safe with him. Suddenly it hit me, I like Draco. I like Draco Malfoy. And he liked me back.

I stared into his eyes, "Malfoy...I feel the same. I know it hurts right now but it will get better. I promise." A slight smile grew on his face, "What did you say?" "It will get better?" "No the first part." "I feel the same."

And with the last few words out of my mouth, he kissed me.
