"I love you.." Tim said to Maddy as she got ready for work.
"What?" Maddy was taken aback and turned around to face Tim.
"I love you.."
He finally said it.
Maddy was filled with pure joy, "I love you too!"
"Hell yeah!" Tim jogged over, wrapped her in his masculine arms, and kissed her.. passionately. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was late July of 2020, and the pandemic still raged on in Texas. Maddy was working a lot of overtime and was worried it would put a strain on her relationship with Tim. But Tim was one of a kind— he always texted her when he could, sent flowers to her hospital, and left her notes, telling her how much he loved her all around her apartment.
Maddy was the happiest she'd ever been, and she couldn't wait to share that happiness with her mom. Tim was finally meeting Stacy Graham (Briggs). With everything going on in the world, and Tim and Maddy both being first responders, they hadn't had much time to plan the virtual dinner until now. —————————————————————— "Ready babe?" Maddy smiled at Tim as she got her laptop set up.
"Hell yes!" He was so excited to meet her mom.
"Hi momma!" Maddy said to the computer.
"Hi sweetie! Can you hear me okay?" Her adorable mother asked. Her mom's dark brown hair, and green eyes twinkled in the glare of her white dinning room chandelier. Maddy loved her mom more than anyone else on the planet— and her opinion meant everything to her.
"Hi mom! We can hear you perfectly!" Maddy smiled then gestured for Tim to come into frame. "Mom, this is Tim!" She beamed as her mom put her glasses on, "hello Tim! Nice to meet you!"
"You too ma'am!" He smiled. "Your home looks lovely!"
"Thank you Tim! He's cute Madison.."
"Oh mom.. he can hear you," Maddy laughed.
"Good!" Her mom responded with a wink.
"What're we doing for dinner? I'm going to eat with you right?"
Maddy and Tim sat down at the table, so they were both facing Maddy's laptop. "Yep! We ordered you some pizza. Is that okay?"
"Oh yes, that's fine! I think it's here now!" Maddy's mom got up to answer the door. She walked back into view with a happy smile on her face. The trio sat down and ate amongst laughter and questions. ——————————————————————- "Your mom is great!" Tim said as she slid into bed next to Maddy.
"She texted me after we let her go, and she said from what she saw.. she LOVES you!"
"She does?! Oh thank god!" Tim cheered as he pulled Maddy close to him. Maddy adjusted herself and draped her arm over his chiseled chest. "And I know you like her."
"Hell yeah! But I love her daughter.." Tim said.
Maddy looked at his lips and pulled him into a kiss. "I love you too, Timothy Marcus Rosewater!"
"Ohh.. the full name?! You're in trouble!" He growled as he sat up as smacked her ass. The two lovebirds romped in the sheets until Maddy got the upper hand. She subdued her opponent by repeatedly tickling the small of his back.
She stopped her attack and took him in, all of him— his smile that could sweep her off her feet, his eyes that she could get lost in. His laugh that made her heart flutter. She was so in love.
