Summer was slowing start to whined down, and fall was around the corner. Maddy was told that fall in Texas is extremely pretty, so she was excited. Though nothing could beat the Northeast in fall. Regardless of any of that, Madison was ready to spend the holidays with the love of her life, and virtually with their parents.
They've only been together for seven months, but Maddy had never felt this way about anyone before, and she was more than okay with it. ———————————————————————— "Can you believe this shit's still going on?" Tim sighed as he collapsed into Maddy's crying body. "You're okay babe.. it's okay." He continued.
"Just.. so many people.." she sobbed as Tim held her in his arms.
"I know baby... we're swamped with calls... but you're doing amazing."
"YOU ARE TOO! You hero you! And Nancy!" Maddy grabbed his hands to kiss them. Tim looked at her, like she was the world, his world.
"You're a hero too babe." ——————————————————————— "The holidays are gonna be so weird this year babe. Like.. we can't have non-household members in our houses. Guess we're gonna have to Skype with our fams!" Tim said.
"Right? But it's needed! People don't friggin' listen!" Maddy snapped. "Sorry babe.. it's just maddening."
"I know babe, but it'll be okay.." Tim grabbed her face in his hands and kissed her lovingly.
That's one of the many reason's Maddy loved Tim, he was supportive and unrelentingly caring. He loved the way she made him feel appreciated, he loved her smile and her laugh. She loved his eyes, and his heart. ——————————————————————- "So Thanksgiving with my parents. Christmas with your mom?" Tim chuckled carefully.
"Yep.. Skype celebrations!" Maddy shrugged with a laugh. "But it'll still be fun.. good to see the parentals either way!" She reached up on her toes to grab a cup out of the cabinet, and when she did, her oversized t-shirt (that was Tim's) rode up, exposing her bikini underwear.
Tim licked his lips and tiptoed over to Maddy. He reached out and wrapped his unsuspecting girlfriend in his arms, and smacked her ass while he kissed her neck. She smacked him as he scared her, but she turned around and fell into his kiss. His touch never failed to have her weak at the knees. ——————————————————————— "Happy Thanksgiving, Linda and Jeff!" Maddy said into Tim's iPad as they FaceTimed his parents.
"Oh Madison! Happy Thanksgiving dear! Where is our son at?" Linda asked.
"Tim!" She yelled across the apartment. "Sorry guys.. I think he's in the bathroom," Maddy laughed.
"As usual," Jeff said with a head shake. "Your food looks good!"
Maddy smiled before she confessed to them, "thank you Jeff. But I didn't actually make it.. we ordered it." She covered her face with her hands. She looked up and saw Jeff and Linda laughing, "nothing wrong with that sweetie! Hi Timothy!"
"Hi babe!" Maddy added as Tim appeared in sight.
"Let's eat!" He said as he sat down next to Maddy and waved to his parents. ——————————————————————— "Merry Christmas Stacy!" Tim said as Stacy appeared on screen via Maddy's laptop. "Oh Tim, hello! How are you?" Stacy smiled. Tim smiled back, "I'm well! How are you?"
Maddy appeared in the living room, and sat down next to Tim. "Hi momma!"
"Hi baby girl! You guys good?"
"Yep!" The coupled answered. "Thanks for the gifts mom! You really didn't have to!"
"Oh good, you got them!"
"We did!" Maddy smiled at her mom. Stacy gave Maddy a new stethoscope— customized with Red Sox colors (her favorite baseball team— yes blasphemous for a New Yorker), and new pink scrubs. She got Tim a new stethoscope too, and something Maddy wasn't allowed to see, it was a secret between Stacy and Tim. ——————————————————————— "2021 HAS to be better than this year.. I mean, 2020 was horrendous.." Maddy remarked as she rested her head on Tim's broad shoulder, and grabbed his hand.
"I agree babe.. it has to be, right?! I don't know what the hell will happen next year.." Tim sighed as he ran his fingers through her hair. "All I know is that I'll still love you.."
"I'll love you always, babe." Maddy replied as she rubbed his hand with her thumb.
