'Hey Eddie! So uhm.. I'll be able to see you for a little this weekend. Thursday.. since that's my Friday. lol. BUT I would like you to get along with TK more.. so maybe you, me & C+TK have a little get together? I would just need you get a COVID test before. I'll talk to my boys.. let me know. :)'
'I'm fine with that. I'm vaccinated! ;). Maybe we can do that Friday?'

"Morning boo!" Maddy said as she bent down, and messed up TK's hair. "Today is my Friday!""Babe.. it's early." He mumbled.
Maddy laughed, "I'm about to go to work actually. It's almost 7:30, so get up! I got stuff to tell ya after work, since you aren't awake now!" Maddy leaned down again and showered his face with kisses.
"Ahh.. I'm up," TK chuckled. He threw his legs over the edge of his station bed. Maddy ruffled his hair again, and kissed his forehead before heading out for her shift. She walked quietly out of the room, and headed down the steps, stopping to pet Buttercup before she headed to the hospital.

"Hi Ladies!" Maddy greeted Liz and Jen with a wave as she approached the nurses station to put her bags down."Hi Maddy!" Both ladies said in unison, causing them to laugh.
"Y'all are crazy. Ready for a good shift today?" Maddy asked with a smiling face. "Let's hope it's chill.."
"Madison!" Jen barked.
"I said CHILL! Not the other C-word.. calm.." she finished with a whisper. She winced for a moment, hoping she didn't jinx them— after two minutes, nothing. She breathed out with a laugh.
The shift ended with nothing more than a few broken bones, and some negative COVID tests.
"See, I told y'all! It was fine! Thank goodness..""Ain't that the truth!" Liz said in return.
"Well if that's all.. I'm clocked out, 20 minutes early.. don't tell! Y'all good?" Maddy asked.
"Yeah! See ya Monday Maddy!" Liz and Jen shouted.

Maddy made it to her car and did her normal end of shift scream, then left the garage to head to the store— it was her grocery shopping day; she was planning on having Eddie, and CK (her pet name for Carlos and TK) over either tonight or tomorrow, and she only had vegetarian food, so she wanted to get more variety. She drove through town and headed toward the Texas 275 Loop to head to the store— it was the fastest route; on the highway, then off at the exit a mile down, easy peasy.
Well, usually.
As Maddy merged onto the 275, she gunned it as a tractor trailer let her out. She waved to him and quickly hit 65, leaving the truck several cars behind her— only to come to a near complete stand still half a mile before her exit.
