"What Elena told us about that man she hit still bothers me." Alaina tells Stefan. "Could that have been a vampire. She did say he started to getup than left when Damon appeared."

"I don't know who it was, but I promise to keep you safe." He tells her. "I brought this to help your family and friends."

Alaina smiled when she saw he jewelry. "Vervain?"

"Yes."

"Thank you." She tells him with a kiss.

"Alaina, I need you to pay for the pizza." They heard Jeremy say.

"I'll be right back." She tells him as she walked out of the room. She pulled the twenty that Jenna gave her and smiled. "Here you go."

He nodded and left. Alaina walked back upstairs as tomorrow was a big day. Her and Elena had to protect their family and friends.

The next day, Elena had agreed to give vervain to Caroline. The blonde knew it was a bad idea as Caroline thought Elena still held feelings for Matt. Which Alaina believes Elena does since she stopped going after Stefan. "Alaina?" She looked at her history teacher and smiled. "Can I speak to you?"

"Sure?" She replies. "Is there something you needed to see me for?"

"Have you read the journal that Jeremy did his report on?"

"Report? I didn't know anything about it. Is there something in that journal specifically?" Alaina asked.

"Yes." Alaric asked. "You may go."

Alaina was confused, but shrugged as she walked over to her best friend. "Caroline, how did it go with Elena?"

"It was awkward. She asked about my relationship with Matt...."

"Caroline! Calm down." Alaina says. "Your hyperventilating here over Elena. She has moved on."

"I know, but they've dated forever and I'm afraid there is still feelings there."

"Come here." Alaina said as she hugged her blonde friend. "You are beautiful and you can have any guy that wants you. Don't feel like your second best or not beautiful enough. Be you."

After getting the Gilbert watch from Stefan, Alaina walked in as she heard Jenna and Elena. "Is there something I'm missing here?" She asked.

"Just getting information on my adoption."

"Elena, I can help you." Alaina said. "I'm sure mom knows where there is more information about who your birth parents are or at least your mother."

"Thank you, Alaina."

The blonde smiled as she was able to offer help. She went upstairs to get dressed for the party. Sometime after Jenna left, Alaina noticed the watch acting strange and called Stefan. "Hello, Alaina."

"Damon, is Stefan there?" She asked him.

"He left not to long ago, but he left his phone."

"Thank you." She said as she hung up. "Elena, I'll see you at the dance."

"Okay." Elena said. "Alaina." She called out and ran downstairs to catch up with her. Just to see the blonde get attacked.

Alaina started to fight back. He disappeared when Stefan walked in. "Alaina." He said as he ran to her.

"I'll live." She replies.

"That's the vampire I hit." Elena replies.

At the dance, Alaina smiled as she was dancing. "You've lived in the 50s so show me what their dances was like."

"No." Stefan tells her.

"Please." She replies as she kissed him.

Everyone watched as Stefan and Alaina dance like they were in the 50s. Alaina giggled as Stefan kissed her. "That will be the last time."

"We'll see about that." She tells him as he laughed. Alaina noticed someone missing and looked at Stefan. "Where's Elena?"

Alaina ran into the cafeteria. "Elena!" Elena turned as did Noah.

"Alaina, run."

Alaina saw Noah coming towards her before Stefan grabbed him. "What do you want with Elena?" Alaina asked.

"She looks Katherine."

Alaina watched as they continued questioning him will he brought up a grimoire ghat can get them in the tomb. Alaina knew this was going to be nothing, but drama between Stefan and Damon.

Alaina hugged Stefan after hearing Damon asking was he lying about helping. "So what are we going to do now?" She asked.

"We'll help, but we have to make sure he doesn't find out." Alaina nodded. "Right now, my focus is on us." Stefan tells her as he kissed her. All her worries were gone within that kiss. There was only thoughts of Alaina and Stefan.
