Alaina smiled as Stefan told her he was gaining control all because of her. He did confess to drinking from the blood bags, but not so much. Walking through the halls she smiled as she saw Caroline. "Hey." She said as she hugged her. "How was your trip?"

"It was good and wonderful now that I caught up with dad." She said. "Are you excited for Miss Mystic Falls."

"Wait." Alaina said. "You mean to tell me that is coming up." Caroline nodded. "Aww man. I need to go find a dress, talk to Stefan..."

"Alaina, don't panic." Caroline said as Bonnie and Elena walked over to them. "You got this."

"Alaina. Caroline." Bonnie said hugging both girls. "And she's right. You got this."

"Thanks." Alaina said. "I need to go call Stefan."

Elena glared as she watched the dirty blonde walk away. She was not to happy about what she was seeing. Bonnie is only mad at her. Not at Alaina and she was there too. Then there was the Miss Mystic Falls dance. She was hoping to ask Stefan, but knew he would have said no. Now she has to find a date.

At rehearsal, Alaina smiled as her and Stefan danced. "Are you stealing the blood bags?"

"No, baby." He tells her. "I promise you that I am not the one stealing."

Alaina smiled as she could tell he was telling the truth. "I'm glad everything is under control." She tells him.

"That was wonderful." They heard Carol say.

"I'll be seeing you later for the ball."

"Okay." She said as the two shared a kiss.

The next day, Alaina was getting dressed when Damon walked in. "Stefan claims its not him, but I came to see if he lied to you."

"Nope." She replies. "He was being truthful."

Stefan walked in and kissed her head. "I'll be downstairs with the other escorts." Alaina nodded as Stefan walked out.

She looked at Damon who nodded understanding that Stefan was okay. The announcement for the ball was starting making Alaina push Damon out of the room. "Bye.' She said shutting the door and going over to get her dress and change.

Once she was changed, Alaina looked over the rails and smiled as she saw Stefan down there. He looked up and waved at her making her smile. They mouthed I love you to one another. "How does he have control?" Elena asked.

"I've been helping him." She said as she looked at Caroline. "You look beautiful, Care."
"So do you, Alaina."

Alaina heard the announcement again, but this time, it was their names. "Alaina Richardson escorted by Stefan Salvatore."

Stefan stood at the bottom and was shocked as he was on his first day of meeting Alaina. She was the only girl he could see. Alaina reached the bottom and linked her arm with Stefan. "Your still beautiful."

"And your still handsome." She tells him as they walked out to the stage.

The two stood in front of one another till they saw Damon with Elena and knew. Something happened to Elena's escort. "I'm not asking."

Stefan chuckled as the music started. Alaina smiled as they did the dance they had rehearsed. They didn't take their eyes off one another as they danced. Damon looked at his brother and Alaina and smiled. He wondered when they should tell her about Alaric being her dad.

Once the dance ended, Alaina stood with the other girls waiting for the announcement for the winner. Alaina didn't care much for winning as she was in it for fun. "The new Miss Mystic Falls is..." Caroline grabbed Alaina's hand waiting to see who the winner is. "Alaina Richardson."

"What?" She said as Caroline hugged her and Elena.

Stefan smiled as he saw the look on Alaina's face as this was not what she was expecting. Alaina looked to see Jenna cheering. "That's my daughter!"

Alaina laughed at Jenna. She walked off the stage and was grabbed by Stefan and dipped just for him to steal a kiss. Alaina was shocked at the sudden movement, but kissed him back. Elena saw and glared at what she was seeing. Stefan should have been her's not Alaina's.

Damon walked into Stefan's room to see Stefan holding a ring. "What's the ring for?"

"I'm going to ask Alaina to marry me." He confessed. "I just don't know when."

"When the time is right." Damon says. "By the way, tell little miss blondie that I said congrats."

Stefan nodded as Damon walked away. Since meeting Alaina, things have change for him and Damon. She's perfect.
