Alaina smiled as Jenna found information on Elena's birth mother, but she wasn't going to help like promise. Elena screwed up when she tried to seduce Stefan. Elena hasn't tried to apologize, but Alaina won't give her the chance to talk. "Alaina, I know you and Elena aren't speaking, but I also have news about your father, but there were tons of possibility."

"I think I'll do a paternity test." She tells her. "Kate won't tell me so why not give me that list and I'll have Liz ask each person on this to take a test."

Elena waked in making the blonde walk out. "Alaina..."

"I don't want to hear it." She said as she looked at the list and the one name she was not expecting to see was Alaric Saltzman. "Oh my god."

"Wow." Stefan said as he looked at the blonde. "Alaric might be your dad."

"Shockingly yes." She said as she laid back. "How's Damon?"

Stefan gave her a look making Alaina shake her head. Elena arrived to talk to Stefan to apologize for what she had done, but stopped as she saw Alaina and Stefan talking. She wished she didn't do what she had done. Elena knew she ruined a friendship and that was on her.

"If you find out, let me know." Stefan tells her. "I'll be there."

"I want you there so we can find out together." Alaina said.

Stefan smiled as he kissed her.

That night, Stefan and Alaina were sitting at a table when Liz walked over. "So everyone agreed to the test, but it might take some time as Kate was known around these parks." She tells the blonde. "You two enjoy your night."

"Thanks."

The raffle started and Alaina saw Elena. Stefan knew that Alaina was ignoring Elena even when she sat down. "Alaina, I'm so..."

"Elena, you ruined it not me." She said. "I don't know why your so desperate to prove to Stefan that he should have picked you."

"I was upset because you were first pick and not me. I ruined a relationship because I tried something so stupid to get Stefan to see it was me he wanted, but seeing his face and the disgusted look he held told me. I screwed up."

Alaina nodded as she heard in that moment that Damon basically confessed to killing Isobel. The blonde watched Elena run out and followed. She may be mad at Elena, but Elena just learned that her mom was killed by Damon Salvatore.

That night, Alaina was asleep in her bed when Elena walked in. "She's alive." Elena said.

"What?"

"I called the last number on the man's phone and it was her."

Alaina knew right there. They have another vampire on their hands.
