Alaina Richardson has been leaving in the Gilbert house since her friend's parents last. Her godmother or as she calls her mom, became the guardian of Elena and Jeremy Gilbert. She didn't mind it, but when you hear them fighting and trying to console the other was rough. "Mom?"
"Alaina, I have your toast ready." Jenna said. "I'm nervous with Elena and Jeremy."
"Your doing great." Alaina reassures her. "Just do what you have been doing for me."
Jenna nodded as Elena walked in. Alaina laid against the counter as Elena spoke to Jenna. "Hey." Elena replies with a smile.
"Good morning, is Bonnie coming to get us?"
"Yeah."
Alaina actually prefers Caroline as the girl always felt left out. Alaina was the first person to ever make Caroline feel good about herself. She saw Jeremy and decided to make her exit, but stopped. "Mom, your late."
"Crap." Jenna said as she left.
"I always wondered why you called Liz and Jenna mom." Elena said as the two walked out of the house.
"Jenna is my godmother and my parents signed every rights over to her and Liz, well she treats me like a daughter so..."
"Oh." Elena replies as the two got in Bonnie's car. ~~~ Alaina smiled as she finally reached her locker. Caroline saw her friend and snuck up behind her. "Guess who." She said as she covered Alaina's eyes.
"I don't know." She replies. "Hmmm. Caroline?"
"Hi."
Alaina laughed as the two started walking to their class. Alaina stopped when she saw a new student. "Who is that?" She asked.
Caroline looked and saw who her friend was talking about. When he turned, green eyes met with blue grayish eyes. Caroline smiled as she saw it. "Oh my god." She said catching Alaina's attention. "I can see it now. A June wedding."
Alaina giggled as they walked off. "Who said anything about a wedding. And why June?" She asked.
"Cause June is when we first met and I see the two of you getting married."
Alaina shook her head. "We just looked at each other. It's not like we're going to suddenly start dating. Elena comes first and the two of us know that."
Caroline nodded and hoped for once that the new boy, that she will get information about, he will choose Alaina and not Elena. ~~~ Later that day, Alaina smiled as she was walking back from the store now that she had a new sketch book. She didn't pay much attention till she bumped into someone. "I am so sorry."
"It's fine."
Alaina looked up to see the boy from school. "I'm Alaina." She replies.
