Stefan arrived as did Bonnie. He saw Matt and ran to him. "Is she okay?"

"She has a broken leg and barely little injury." He said. "I thought you should be here for her."

"Thank you." He said as he walked to her room and saw her asleep with Alaric by her side. "Jenna should be on her way."

"She's dealing with the building right now." Alaric said. "Why was she in that car?"

"I told Elena to find Alaina and bring her to me."

Alaina opened her eyes to see Alaric and Stefan. "She told me to go home with Caroline  and that you would be there..."

"I never told her that because I wanted to spend time with you." He tells her. "She lied so she could get me to hang out with her."

Damon looked in and saw the blonde after he heard Stefan. "Blondie is awake."

Alaina laid her head back and looked at Stefan. "What was the noise that Tyler heard?" She asked making the brothers look at one another.

"I'll explain." Stefan says making her smile.

Alaina scooted over for Stefan when Jenna ran in. "Oh thank god your okay." Jenna said as she hugged her.

"I'm fine, mom." She tells her. "Plus Stefan figured out who my real dad is."

"Who?"

"Alaric."

Jenna was shocked, but was grateful that Alaina figured it out. She hugged her as Elena walked in making Stefan glare. "Can she be released?" Jenna asked.

"They want to keep her for one more night and I offered to stay with her."

Elena looked at Stefan shocked that he wasn't going to her house. Alaina smiled as Jenna left and looked at Elena. Stefan shut the door and laid beside her. "Stefan."

"Hmm."

"I love you."

Stefan and Alaina learned from Damon that Katherine Pierce is back. Stefan told Alaina to stay by his side after they threatened John. "That's her." Alaina pointed out.

"Yes."

Katherine turned and saw the two. She saw how Stefan stayed close to Alaina who looked up at him smiling. "Hello, Stefan." She said. "And I'm guessing your Alaina."

"So." Alaina says.

Katherine looked at the blonde and at Stefan. "Why are you here?" Stefan asked.

Katherine walked with the couple and Alaina was quiet. Stefan wanted answers and Alaina just wanted her leg to be free from the cast. They made it out back just for Alaina to zone back in. "I came back for you."

"I never loved you. You compelled my love for you." Stefan tells her as he looked at the blonde beside him. "Alaina is the only one I love."

Alaina smiled at him. "I hate you, Katherine."

Katherine didn't like what she heard and stabbed Alaina before she ran off. "That bitch." She said as Elena ran over to them.

"Are you okay?"

"I think you've done enough." Stefan tells her. "Let's sit down." He tells Alaina.

Alaina sat down as Stefan pulled the pole out making her gasp. Stefan bit his wrist and had her feed. "Why is Katherine back?"

"She wants me back." Stefan says. "There's only one and that is Alaina."

Alaina laid her head against his shoulder and looked up. "Thanks." She tells him. "Can we go home?"

"Of course." Stefan said as he picked her up and carried her off.

Elena sighed as she realized that lying to Alaina made Stefan hate her more. She walked away thinking. Alaina looked up at Stefan and smiled. "What did I do to deserve you?"

"That should be my question, but I'm glad its you."

Alaina smiled as he carried her to his car.

That night a noise was heard causing Alaina to look in Elena's room to see Jeremy dead. "What?' She said as she ran to Elena's side. "What happened?"

"He wanted me to admit that I loved him." She said. "I told him no and he killed Jeremy."

Alaina started crying till Jeremy woke up. "Oh my god." She said hugging him and saw the ring. "You're okay."

Jeremy hugged both girls crying for what happened. Alaina knew she would have a talk with Damon for what he had done.
