Katherine saw the expecting girl reading. She was going to see if she can fool Alaina like she can the boys. "Hello, Alaina."

The blonde looked up and smiled. "Not working." She says. "Elena would be asking about the baby and trying to understand what Klaus wants or trying to sacrifice herself." She looked down at her book. "Plus, you're not good at being nice. Nice makes you sick."

Katherine couldn't believe what she just heard. Alaina stated something that was true. Hearing the boys, Katherine decided to put her plan into action. "Oh. By the way, if you try anything I'll kill you."

"I'm not after Stefan. I'm after Taylor now."

Alaina shook her head as she went back to her book.  She felt a kiss to her head causing her to look at the person and smiled. "Did you forget..."

"No, but I did hear Katherine. She has a point." She says as Elena walked in. "Who knows Klaus better and what this ritual is about than the person who it should have been first?" 

"Katherine." 

"Yes." Alaina says as she stood up. "Think about it. She's older then you three. She is Elena's doppelganger and she's a target to Klaus. Something isn't adding up with us or we should really start listening to Katherine. Despite her wanting her freedom."

Elena didn't know what to think. Stefan followed Alaina upstairs to get ready for their appointment.  "I don't know about this." Elena tells the other two.

"She has made a good point, but you two do whatever." Damon says. "I'm going to figure out a way to kill Elijah."

Later that day, Stefan sat beside Alaina as they looked at the screen. "There is the baby."

"Stefan?"

"I can't believe this is happening." He says looking at her. "We're having a kid in school, but it's with the best woman I could have ever met." Alaina smiled at him. "I love you, Alaina."

"I love you, Stefan."

"Do you two want to know what you are having?"

"Actually, Caroline, my cousin, has told me that she wants to do a reveal. So whatever you have to do to see what we are having, you can."

The doctor nodded causing Stefan to kiss her head. "Baby, I don't care what we are having just know I can't wait for us to have this little one."

"I love you."

"I love you." 

The doctor walked in to see the couple kissing and smiled. She cleared her throat causing the two to look at her to see the needle. Blood work. Alaina groaned as Stefan laughed. "This is how we tell what you are expecting."

"Okay." She says. "Just call me and I'll send Caroline to get it. I'm not ruining the surprise."

"That's fine."

Stefan watched the doctor take blood. He looked at Alaina to see she was looking at him. He kissed her head as he looked back at the screen. Baby Salvatore. He couldn't wait to name the child with Alaina. He was getting the life he should had back then, but he wasn't going to change a thing. Stefan found a new life and this life included Alaina Richardson and their unborn child.
