Alaina smiled as her and Stefan walked over to Alaric. "Be careful dad." She tells him with a smile.

"I have been waiting to hear those words for a long time." He said as he hugged his daughter and saw the ring. "You asked her."

"Yeah." Stefan said. "She's my world and I'm going to make her mine."

Elena walked over to talk to Stefan, but stopped as she saw the engagement ring. "What?' She asked. "You're engaged?"

"Elena, I have no feelings for you. I've told you for months that I have someone and that is Alaina." Stefan tells her as he wrapped an arm around Alaina. "We need to go see Caroline and help her."

"Okay." Alaina said as she kissed him.

Alaina sat with Caroline as she waited for Bonnie to make the ring. "Bonnie, please make the ring and we will leave you alone." Alaina said.

Bonnie sighed as she walked to Caroline's jewelry box and started looking for a lupus lazuli. Alaina looked at Stefan as he leaned against the door frame making her walk over to him. "You don't have to be there with me..."

"I've done told you that I will help." He tells her as he grabbed her hand. "We're in this together."

Alaina smiled as she hugged him just for Bonnie to walk by them and look at Caroline. "Let's get to the party.'

"I don't think you're...." Caroline left making Alaina and Stefan go after her.

They arrived at the party and saw Caroline compelling a girl to leave Matt alone. "Caroline." Alaina called out as she walked over to her.

Stefan watched his fiancée talk to Caroline. He was proud of her as she was human and seeing as Alaina understanding a vampire of how to control was amazing. Caroline walked away making Alaina shake her head. "She'll eventually listen." Alaina said as she turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Just like I listened to you."

"You are so amazing." Stefan tells her. "Now we need to find her again."

"Wherever Matt is, is where she is at." Alain tells him. "I just hope that we find her on time."

"We will."

Alaina was on the phone as Caroline hugged her. Stefan found them and noticed a worried look. She heard a howl and looked at the two vampires. "We need to leave now."

"What's wrong?"

"Damon said that werewolf bites are fatal to vampires. We need to go now." Alaina tells him.

Stefan tossed Alaina on his back as they left. Caroline went one way as Stefan and Alaina went another way.

Alaina smiled as her friend was home and that made her happy. Stefan walked over to her and kissed her shoulder. "Caroline made it home, but she might be ending things with Matt because of her feeding off him." She tells him. "She's hurting."

"Hey." Stefan said as he turned her around. "Caroline will eventually understand how to live this life because she has an amazing friend like you to help."

Alaina smiled as she hugged Stefan. Neither of them said a word as they knew that everything will work out eventually. Stefan leaned in and kissed her making Alaina kiss him back. Their love grew stronger today after Alaina tried to help her best friend with her feeding. Stefan knew Alaina would make an amazing vampire.
