Alaina smiled as her mother was released from the hospital. She walked over and started helping them. "No, you sit and rest." Elena tells her. "You're not even going to help."

"But..."

"Alaina, you're pregnant and this is something we can handle. You don't need to stress your body out."

Alaina sighed as she couldn't do much. She called Stefan to see if he was going to the ball with her. "Hey, are we still going to the ball?" She asked as he says he will see her there. "You won't even know what I look like."

"I know my pregnant girlfriend any where.' He tells her making Alaina smile. "Katherine wants the moonstone."

Alaina looked at her mother as she was placed down beside her. "Are you okay, mom?" She asked.

"I'll be fine." She tells her. "Will you and Stefan finish explaining everything to me sometime tonight?"

"Yeah." She says. "Let me finish this call and find my dress."

Jenna nodded as she watched Alaina leave talking to Stefan. She knew that Katherine doesn't stand a chance when it comes to them. Stefan and Alaina's love is stronger than what most people's love is. "Jenna?" She looked at Elena. "Are you worried?"

"No. Just thinking of how strong Alaina and Stefan's love is. They don't let people get in between them."

"Their love is pure." Elena tells her. "They can overcome anything together."

"So Katherine wants the moonstone or she will rip this town apart."

"Yep."

Alaina sighed. "Stefan, I don't think we can kill her. She knows things that could help us. Plus, she's always one step ahead of us." She tells him as he pulled her into his arms. "Don't leave my side tonight."

"I won't, baby." He says. "Katherine won't even try anything to me anymore. After she seen how much I love you."

"We're stronger than her."

"Yep." He says kissing her head. "Get dressed for tonight."

Alaina smiled as she stood up. "Maybe it's best to arrive together." She tells him. "That way, Katherine can tell us what she wants."

"Sounds like a plan."

Stefan waited for Alaina to walk downstairs so they could leave together. He heard her heals and looked to see Alaina in a yellow dress and with a black mask on. "Wow." He says. "You look amazing."

"Thank you, handsome." She tells him as she kissed him. "Are you ready?"

"I don't know if I want to go." He says. "I think I want to stay home with you."

Alaina smiled as she kissed him again. "I would love that too." She says. "But, we have other things we need to do."

Stefan sighed as he just wanted to stay in bed with Alaina. No worrying about the moonstone or Katherine. Yet, Alaina made a point last night. There is a reason why Katherine wants that moonstone and they were going to find out. Feeling a hand grab his, Stefan looked and smiled as the one woman he wanted was right there with him. "I love you."

Arriving at the Lockwood mansion, Stefan and Alaina danced together as they were focusing on them. "Hello, Stefan, Alaina."

"Katherine, it's nice to see you here." She says as she leaned her head on Stefan's chest. "Want to talk about the moonstone."

"Let's talk then." She says. "Stefan, be a good boy and get us a drink."

"I can't drink anything, but water and he knows this."

"How?"

"Bonnie casted a spell for it to happen." She says. "I may not like you, but if there is a reason for that moonstone, then let us help you and you can live your life the way you want it. Just leave me and Stefan alone."

Katherine walked closer to Alaina and touched her hair. "How about we play by my rules?" She tells her. "You and Stefan won't break up because of the love you two have, but I will let that go. The moonstone and what I want it for will be my game. We will play that by my rules."

Alaina nodded as Stefan walked over with drinks. He gave Katherine her's and handed Alaina's water to her. "Start talking." Stefan tells Katherine as he held Alaina close.

"She's not going to tell us just yet." Alaina says. "She's actually wanting this to be a game. She let us by with the first game, but this one, we have to figure out on our own. She's always one step ahead of us."

Katherine may have a friend in Alaina. "She's smart." Katherine says. "Now, let's go talk."

Stefan grabbed Alaina's hand. "Baby, I don't think we can kill her."

"We can't." She says. "One, we may hurt Elena if she's did something to link her to Elena and two, she knows something is coming and why she wants that moonstone so badly." Giving him a kiss, Alaina smiled. "I'll be outside waiting for you."

"Okay." He says kissing her again. "I love you, Alaina and our baby."

"I love you too."

Alaina saw Elena walking out and walked over to her. "What's wrong?"

"Katherine was linked to me. The boys tried to kill her. Well, Damon was."

"Because Stefan and I knew that she would do something like this. Damon wants her gone, but Stefan and I came to a conclusion. Katherine knows somethings coming and it's going to happen." She says. "Let's go home."

Before the girls got to the car, Elena gasped causing Alaina to fight back, but her nose and mouth was covered with the same cloth. The man looked at the girls and knew. Elijah was going to be shocked by the girl who is pregnant by a vampire.
