Jungkook let Jimin lean on him as he was injured. The monster had cut him on the stomach and he was bleeding heavily. Jungkook tried to encourage him

"Come on, Jiminie. You can do it. We're almost there," Actually, Jungkook had no idea if they were even on the right track. He couldn't even remove his phone from his pocket without letting Jimin fall on the ground.

Jimin groaned. "Jungkookie."

"Mmm?"

"I want to lie down."

"Alright, but don't fall asleep," Jungkook was afraid he would lose Jimin if he fell unconscious. He lay Jimin down and took out his phone. There was only like a hundred meters left. He looked ahead and saw a mansion.

"That must be it," he thought to himself. "Jiminie look! That must be the safe house!"

When he didn't get any reply from Jimin, Jungkook turned around.

Jimin was unconscious.

"No, no, no, this cannot be happening," said Jungkook. "Jimin! Wake up! Please!"

Nothing happened. This couldn't be happening. Jungkook started crying. He had known Jimin since he was a kid. He, Jimin and Taehyung had been best friends. What was he going to tell Taehyung? That his brother had died, and he could do nothing about it? He thought of how his boyfriend would break at the news. Taehyung trusted Jungkook. So much that he even told Jungkook about his father's marriage to Jimin's mom. How had he repaid that trust? By letting Jimin die?

Jungkook thought about when they were kids. Him and Taehyung teasing Jimin because of his height. Jimin always said that when they grew up, he would be taller than the both of them. Now he wouldn't be able to keep that promise.

Jungkook cried even more. He held Jimin's hand and froze.

There was a pulse.

Jimin wasn't dead, but dying. And he would die if Jungkook didn't do something fast.

Jungkook thought for a solution. Maybe he could get some help from the mansion. But what if he was too late? The risks were too high.

Jungkook looked at Jimin, the safe house, and back. He could cover that distance. Jungkook was one of the fastest boys in school, second only to Jimin. He was made for this hundred meter sprint. He was strong as well, so Jimin slowing down would not be much of a problem.

There was only one option now.

Jungkook picked Jimin up in both hands and prepared for the run. He took a deep breath.

And he ran as fast as he could.

A/N- Thank you for the 300 reads! I'm back with another update, and a scary one too. Will Jungkook reach the mansion in time, or will Jimin perish? *Insert dramatic music here* Don't forget to vote!
