We were walking towards some little shop when I felt a grip on my arm as somebody spun me around.
I flinched and stumbled back some. I breathed in deeply as I saw Matthew's face soften knowing that he frightened me.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare y- Brooke?" He said quietly.
"Matty!" She squealed as she ran over and hugged him.
He stood there awkwardly and turned back to me as she released him from her grasp. It looked like he was ready to go off by the look on his face. I turned to Brooke and waved.
"We can finish this some other time, I'm sorry."
She smiled a weird smile and winked at Matthew.
"Bye Matty."
He pulled me by the hand and quickly walked away.
"What's your problem?" I asked jerking my arm away.
"Don't talk to her, she's bad news." He growled.
"You can't tell me who I can and can't talk to Matthew."
He looked at me and his expression was cold and heartless.
"When it comes to her I do." I stared at him for a moment, he's never been so...forward.
We started heading back towards Cameron's house, I was expecting him to be there and luckily he was. I walked in and hugged him lightly than sat down next to him. I felt him wrap his arms around my waist and pull me closer.
I heard the front door close and knew Matthew had left.
For an hour or so we just sat there watching the reruns of friends. His mom and sister had left to go visit some family members so it was just us 2. It was silent for a moment until I heard Cameron speak up.
"How was today?" He said with his cute little smile.
"It was fine, I just went to the park and that's really all."
I felt him place his hand on my thigh and rub small circles into it. I relaxed some and kissed his cheek, I felt him place his right hand on my waist and pull me closer so we were just inches apart.
His eyes sparkled under the golden rays of the sun. He leaned in slowly and placed his lips on mine, our mouths moving in sync. Things started getting more intense as I felt his lips peck light kisses down the side of my neck. It sent shivers up my spine as I relaxed and tangled my fingers into the ends of his hair.
I heard the lock of the door jingling as I quickly jumped up and covered the small bruises that were showing up on my neck with my hair. I sat up and looked to see Matthew staring as he mouthed "Oh" and walked upstairs.
I looked to Cameron seeing he was still dazed by what just happened. I pecked his cheek softly and walked into the guest bedroom and slipped on some sweat pants and a loose shirt and climbed into bed.
I was slowly drifting as I heard my door creak open. I felt the edge of my bed dip down as I saw something.
Something that scared me but brought me comfort, my mom.
