I woke up seeing the bright lights before me, the sunken hurt feeling in me has gotten stronger as the days went by.
Jen has been out cold for the last 4 days, the doctor says its normal for this to happen. The medicine just has to take its course and make its way out of her body.
They've gotten everything back to normal and said she's making progress, slowly but everything's going to be okay. Jade hasn't talked since the night I got the call, Matthew just stares at the wall.
Nash had come in the day after and had to leave for a meet and greet after learning all the news. I felt as if a weight was lifted off my shoulders knowing that she would be okay.
I would hope everyday that they would say we could visit her, but the news still hasn't been delivered. My heart ached to see Jen, her beautiful face with that adorable big smile, her big brown hazel eyes that anybody could get lost in, that cute little dimple she has on the right side of her mouth.
Everything about her just made me love her more than ever.
I was getting lost in my thoughts when I felt a slight nudge in my right side. Jade pointed to the doctor that was walking straight towards us. I sat up some more and tried to not look as tired as I felt.
"Well we have some more news about your friend." He said.
"Is she going to be okay? When can we see her? Will she have any disabilit-"
Jade cut me off.
"What's the news?" She said quietly.
"She's been awake for an hour now, she's talking slightly and she's doing way better then most patients in this situation." He smiled
I saw a little smile creep on to jades face, I was honestly so happy to know she was okay and doing better then we could have imagined.
"Would you all like to see her?"
Jade and I immediately shook our heads and thanked the doctor, I grabbed Matthew and we made our way to her room. As we got closer and closer I could hear her voice slightly, it was quiet but soothing.
He opened the door as a nurse walked out and led us in.
"If any of you need the nurse or I just press this button." He mainly just showed us what to if we needed any help then he vanished.
I saw Jen smile at us some, she was still beautiful even with these cuts and marks that covered her body. I could hear Jade sniffle some as she walked over to Jen. I smiled at how okay she looked, I just wanted to hug her and kiss her.
I could hear them whisper and Jade grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to them. It was hard to hold back the tears but luckily none have slipped.
Yet.
