Thorin PoV

I stayed still, my lips pressed to the black hair of the one who I was scared to let go of. I thought of what she said, how easily she broke when it came to trying to get me back. I memorized how her voice slowly broke down and shriveled as she tried to speak to me. I remember the pinching pain I felt in my heart seeing the made I left on her angelic face. I felt guilt in my stomach and pulled her closer. She hadn't said a thing or moved. "My love?" I whispered quietly. I stayed silent until the silence pressing against my ears was destructed by the faint sound of snoring. I couldn't help but smile, the sound reminded me of when we slept in Laketown. She managed to tangle herself upward in the bed with my head at her stomach before she curled around my head above me, I was able to hear her snoring lightly in my head. 'She must have emotionally drained herself coming to me like that.' I thought. I gently lifted her up and stood, I laid her on the bed and covered her with blanket. I kissed her forehead and laid a pillow beside her so she would have something to roll over and cling too. I quietly opened the door and closed it. I stood with my back against the door and rubbed my eyes. I took a deep breath before going to see the company. I walked slowly down the hallway, thinking of how to approach my nephews that I yelled at.

I found myself in the throne room. I looked at the throne where my grandfather sat, and where I stood by his side. I sighed and walked up to the throne. I looked at it in silence, imagining what it will be like when I finally get to sit in my Throne with Tygr and my nephews by my side. I suddenly thought of something I hadn't in a while, I looked and imagined...a son...or a daughter standing at my side. I felt a lump in my throat thinking of it. Making a family with Tygr...I could easily call it something I am hoping to have one day. "I see your better." I froze and turned to see Balin standing behind me. "Yes...I am." I said. "I told myself I wasn't going to let the gold get ahold of me like it did my grandfather...but I did." I said, feeling slightly ashamed. "Yes, you did. However you where very lucky." Balin said. "How?" I asked. "You had Tygr. She saw you where not okay, all of us did. Though unlike us...even though you physically hurt her she give up on you. She kept a level head, and pulled you out of it...how she did that I do not know. All I know is all of us are thankful." Balin said. I nodded, agreeing with every word he said. "Now, don't be alarmed, however...Tygr hatched a little plan before coming to see you." Balin said. I raised an eyebrow, imagining what my devious little wolf could have come up with. "Come to the treasure room." Balin said. I shook my head, "I will not go near that room. That gold in there made me hurt the ones I love!" I yelled. Balin laughed, "trust me Thorin, you will be alright." He said. I sighed and followed him. As we grew closer I felt a freezing chill flow through the tunnels. "What is that?" I snapped. "You'll see. It's quite beautiful actually." Balin said. We turned the corner...and needless to say I was shocked. I saw Echo, gliding too and fro breathing light coats of frost over every inch of treasure in that room. "W-what is she doing?" I asked. "She's actually melting the dragons curse away." Dwalin said joining me at my side. I couldn't help but smile at the sight until Echo flew towards us and landed looking at me. Her face inches from mine. "I will tell you this once." she said darkly. "If you ever lay a harmful hand on Tygr again, I'll gut you." She snapped. I nodded quickly, fully understanding. She nodded and stood tall. "Once the ice is melted, the curse will be gone." She said. "Thank you Echo." I said grinning at her. She nodded and went past up, elsewhere in the mountain. I looked over the treasure, white...icicles handing from the ceiling. I looked to my right and saw Kili and Fili speaking to each other. "Excuse me," I said quietly as I went from Dwalin and Balin towards them. "Fili, Kili...a word." I said. They looked at me then to each other before nodding. I led them out to the balcony, "I need to apologize for my actions." I said bluntly. "All my actions where unintentional...I am very sorry. I've also set an awful example for you Fili." I said. Fili shook his head, "we know it was not your fault. We forgive you." Fili said, Kili nodded. I felt thankful for my heirs. "How's Tygr?" Fili asked. "She's alright...she's asleep." I said. Before Fili got a chance to reply Kili spoke up. "What...is that?" He said pointing off the balcony. I looked to where he pointed...and found the people of Laketown, flooding into Dale. "What in Mahal is going on?" I said looking on irritated. Suddenly Bilbo spoke out of nowhere making me flinch, "I could find out if you want." He said. "You need a bell." I snapped. I heard Kili snicker behind me. "Do as you wish, figure out why their there." I said. Bilbo nodded and went off. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose before looking at the dwarves who now gathered around me. "Great. Are there any more surprises I should know about?" I asked. "First the ice filled treasure room then the men in dale. Anything else?!" I asked.

I rolled over and wrapped my legs around a pillow that had been placed beside me and hugged it tightly. "Mmm~ Thorin~" I muttered half asleep before shooting up, "what?" I said to nobody in particular. I laughed to myself and laid back down, sprawling out in the massive lavish bed. I yawned and rolled myself over the bed and stood. I hobbled my way over to the pack of matches and began lighting lamps around Thorin's bedroom, giving it nice light. I looked and saw the clothes Thorin threw aside earlier and picked them up, folding them and placing them on a nice table. I smoothed them out to my satisfaction. I ran my fingers through my hair then cringed...it was dirty. "Gross..." I muttered. I walked myself over to the bathroom and ran water to begin filling the tub. I grabbed my brush and combed multiple knots out of my hair. "Eh...ouch." I cringed. I yawned and decided to pour some soap into the bathtub, allowing it to full with bubbles. I giggled, childishly excited. I stripped my clothes off and turned off the water before getting into the warm water. I grinned and soaked down until my nose was just above the water. This tub was massive, sort of like a small pool for me. I was thankful it filled so fast. Suddenly I heard the bedroom door open and shut. "Tygr?" It was Thorin. "In the bath!" I said. Soon enough the king was leaning on the doorframe. "Having fun?" He asked with a smirk plastered on his face. I nodded as I played with the bubbles. "Well, I came to tell you what is going on. The men from Laketown have decided to go into Dale." He said, I could see the irritation in his expression. "What?" I asked sitting up. "Why?" I asked. Thorin sighed, "I don't know, we sent Bilbo to go find out." He said. I nodded. "Echo finished her job by the way." He said. I felt a smile creep on my face and glanced up him. "Good. I'm glad." I said. Thorin grinned and went to kiss my head, though I looked up and kissed his lips. He grinned into the kiss and laughed. I smiled, this was the Thorin I loved. "Well, I'll leave the child to her bubbles." He said. I rolled my eyes, "you wish you had a bath with bubbles right now." I said. He stood and raised an eyebrow at me. "I don't like bubbles." He said as he turned and went back into the bedroom. "That's fine! Bubbles don't like you anyways!!" I yelled. "Oh my heart weeps!" He yelled with a laughed before I heard the bedroom door shut. I snickered and picked up a pile of bubbles before placing them around my mouth, making a beard. "Hehe...I have a better beard than you Thorin~" I laughed before blowing them off. I sighed and began washing my hair and body, humming to myself all the while. After I finished I let the water drain and wrapped myself in a towel and flipped my hair back and forth. I walked back into the bedroom and rummaged through some of Thorin's clothes, hoping for another shirt of his I could make a dress. "Ugh...why do you have so much blue?" I said to myself as I looked on. I soon found a royal purple shirk with a silver neckline. "Huh...why do I have the feeling you never wore this once?" I laughed to myself. I decided to use it and laid if on the bed. I made sure the door was full shut before dropping my towel to the floor, leaving myself naked. I went to grab a pair of underwear out of my bag when I passed by a mirror. I froze...then backed up. My eyes widened to the size of dinner plates. My abdomen was swollen. I was speechless....scared it was what I thought it was. I panicked and quickly pulled on underwear and dressed myself. I ran down the halls of Erebor looking for a certain dwarf in particular. I slid to a stop as I passed him. "Gloin!!!" I said panicked. "Yes lass?" He asked, I gained the attention of Bofur who was with him. "I need you to look at something for me...please." I said. My foot bouncing as a nervous tick. "Is it an injury?" He asked. "I-i really don't know I just need you to look." I said. "Bofur you should come too." I said. The two dwarves nodded and followed me back to Thorin's bedroom.

"What is it?" Gloin asked as I closed the door. "I need you to look at my stomach." I said. Gloin nodded, "alright, lift yer dress."he said. I took a deep breath and lifted it, allowing him to see my stomach. Bofur and Gloins eyes widened. "Lass...I have a few questions to ask." Gloin said as he examined my stomach. "Yeah?" I asked. "Did you and Thorin well...have sex?" He asked. I felt my face blush, "yes..." I said. "Did he pull out?" Gloin asked. "N-no..." I said. Gloin sighed and looked at Bofur who was covering his mouth in shock with his eyebrows raised. "Well lass..." Gloin said as he stood back up. I looked at him, scared that I already knew what he was going to say.

"Your pregnant."
