Tygr POV
I felt something holding my hand tightly...a pillow under my head, a blanket over my body. My head was pounding and a stinging pain in my leg. "Please wake up...please..." I heard Thorin whisper beside me. "I can't live without you...I can't live without seeing your beautiful face, hearing your angelic voice...feeling your skin against mine." I heard him struggle out. I grinned slightly before I groaned groaned in pain and cracked my eyes open. "Hey..." I said, my voice scratchy. Thorin's head swung up. "Tygr...your alright!" He said in pure surprise. "Of course I'm alri-" I was cut off by his lips crashing into mine. My heart pounded as I tangled my fingers into his hair. No kissed him back passionately. I leaned up then hissed from pain. "Agh son of bitch..." I cursed holding my leg. I looked at Thorin who had a loose shirt on...with no kingly attire. His hair was a mess and he looked exhausted. "Did...we win? Is it over?" I asked. Thorin nodded, "yes my love...we won." He said pushing hair out of my face. "Thank mahal," I sighed in relief before noticing we where in a room I did not recognize. "Where are we?" I asked. Thorin got an concerned look, "This is where we keep the injured or sick. I wanted to put you in our room but Gloin said it would have been best to keep you near the medical items I case something happens." He said. I nodded and sat up. "Agh, this really hurts." I said. Thorin got up and took the blanket off my waist to revile a bandage around my lower leg. "We better get this changed." Thorin muttered before beginning to unwrap it. "Can you hold your leg up?" He asked. I sighed and held it up, though it hurt intensely. He quickly wrapped it then threw away the old ones. "Thank you" I said. Thorin smiled and nodded before placing his hand on my stomach. "He's alright right?" Thorin asked. I raised an eyebrow. "How do you know it's a he?" I asked. "I just know it...now...you've been in bed long enough..." He said. "How long have I been here?" I asked. "A few hours?" I asked. Thorin looked shocked. "My love...you've been in here for two weeks. I didn't know if you where going to wake up." He said squeezing my hand. "T-two weeks? How?" I asked shocked. "We don't know...I'm just happy your awake now." He said. "Hah, me too. I hope I look prettier after all that beauty sleep." I laughed. Thorin smiled and cupped my cheek, "you look more beautiful than you could ever imagine." He said. I smiled and held my hand over his. "Can I get out of bed?" I asked. Thorin sat for a moment before speaking, "can you walk?" He asked. "Well, let's see." I said as I gently swung my legs over the bed. I stood, putting most of my weight on my uninjured leg. "Oh mahal..." I groaned looking at my stomach. "I got fatter." I said with a laugh. "Shush. You look beautiful." Thorin laughed. "Is there anything I could use to hold myself up?" I asked. Thorin nodded before coming back with a pair of crutches. "Perfect!" I said happily. Thorin placed a hand gently on my back opening the door. Though when the door opened...I was surprised. Dwarves everywhere...happy chatter, you could hear the sound of pic axes in the mines. The whole place was bursting with life. "Whoa...this is amazing!" I said with a smile. Thorin grinned and nodded "yes, after we won all of the dwarves returned." Thorin said throwing an arm around my shoulder....I managed to get a whiff of him. "Oh mahal!" I laughed covering my nose. "What?" He asked. "When was the last time you bathed?" I asked with a smile. "I don't know...I've been with you. I was so worried I didn't really think of anything else." He said scratching the back of his head. I giggled and pecked his lips. "That's sweet, but please go bathe. I'll be alright for a little while." I said. Thorin nodded and grinned. "I'll see you soon." He said. I nodded and smiled as walked away. I sighed and turned around almost walking right into two women. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" I said. They looked me up and down and looked at each other. "Why do you have animal ears?" One asked. "Oh, I'm a skin changer..." I said with a kind grin. "Hm. Well you shouldn't be hanging around King Thorin. Your kind isn't worth his time." They snapped. My eyes widened. "Wha-" I was cut off by an arm swinging around my neck. "Excuse me do you know who this is?" I heard a kind voice say, it was Kili. "Prince Kili!" They said bowing. "Yeah, and your looking at the future queen. So show respect!" He said. The two women got looks of horror. "We apologize greatly!" They said. "I-it's fine...granite I look like crap right now so it's understandable." I said nervously. They nodded and scurried off, I grinned and looked at Kili before bursting out laughing. "Happy to see your finally awake!" Kili said happily. I nodded and smiled before poking his face, "your beard got thicker!" I said laughing. Kili smiled and nodded, "come on, Fili wants to see you." He said. I nodded and followed Kili, as we dodged our way through people. "Hey where's Echo?" I asked. "At the stables!" Kili said smiling. "Stables?" I asked. "Yeah! While you where asleep...Thorin had all of us building quite a bit of stuff to help you become comfortable." He said. "I wanna see the stables." I said. "Hold on, I'll get Fili, he'll come with us." Kili said before stopping me and going into a room. I waiting until Fili came out. He had the most relieved look on his face before hugging me tightly, knocking my crutches out of my grip. I shrieked and held onto him. "Damnit Fili!" I laughed. He said nothing, only hugged me tighter. "Thank you so much," he said. I then realized how serious he was being. I hugged him tightly, "you saved my life...and my brothers. I will be forever in your debt." He said. I felt my eyes water. "Your welcome Fili...anything for the ones I love." I said. He let go and picked up my crutches before handing them to me. I laughed and wiped tears away from my eyes. "You got me all emotional!" I laughed. Fili smiled and Kili nodded, "it's a skill!" Kili laughed. "Now, can I see these stables you where talking about?" I asked. Kili nodded, "come on, we'll take it slow for the little guy." Kili said. "Hey! I'm short not little!" I snapped. "Not you!" Fili said, before placing a hand on my stomach, "our cousin! You've got precious cargo can't go charging into battle like you did before!" Fili said. I rolled my eyes, "yeah yeah I know. Let's go." I said as we started off towards these alleged stables.
After a long walk and listening to Kili and Fili talk about all that's happened while I was asleep, we found ourselves at two wooden doors. They pushed them open...and I couldn't help but smile. Beautifully crafted wooded stalls...where inside some I found three large Water/ Woodland dragons. Suddenly a large head poked out at me. "Tygr! Your okay!!" I smiled. "Ladel?" I asked. She nodded. I giggled and petted her nose. "Hey Aetne, hey Ethne." I said, the two bowed their heads. "Hello!" They said. I looked forward and my heart skipped. I saw Echo sleeping on a large pile of hay, guarded by a stunning silver gate. "Whoa...where did the gate come from?" I asked. Kili grinned, "it was a gift from Thranduil. He said he is having another gift made for Echo." He said. I was surprised and thankful. I crutched my way over to Echos stall. "Psst! Wake up you lazy lizard." I laughed. Suddenly Echo swung her head up. "Tygr?" She said. I smiled and tried to unlock her gate. "Uh...can you help me?" I asked sheepishly before Fili unlocked it. "Your okay!" She said moving and wrapping her rain around my waist. "BABY! WATCH THE BABY!" I panicked. She set me back down and hooked her tail under my butt and lifted me up, sort of like a swing. "Thank your~" I said smiling. Echos eyes darted to my leg. "Your still injured." She said. I nodded, "yeah, it should be okay soon." I said. Echo shook her head, "remove the bandage." She said. I raised an eyebrow and tried to take it off, though my baby bump stopped me. "Uh heh...Fili can you take off my bandage?" I asked. Fili chuckled and took it off. "Why do you need me to take my bandage." I asked. "This will sting." She said. "What? What will sti-AGH SON OF A DURIN!" I cried when she shot a coat of frost onto my leg. I bit my fist and tensed up. "Agh...why?????" I asked, a tear pricked my eyes. "Leave it till it melts." She said. I nodded. "Are you healing her?" Kili asked poking my leg, making me growl before smacking him in the face with my tail. "Don't, that hurts!" I snapped. Echo nodded. "Well, thank you very munch. "You should be able to walk." She said. I hopped down and to my happiness felt no pain. "Always can count on the dragon." I said. "Of course~" she said with a high and mighty tone. I laughed and hugged her tightly around the neck, "I'm so happy your alright." I said. I felt her head lower around my back. "As I am for you." She said lovingly. I let go and looked up at her. "I'll come back and see you later alright?" I said. Echo nodded and laid back down. I relocked the gate and said goodbye to Ladel, Aetne, and Ethne. "Well, that was fun! And I can walk again so you know...that's a plus." I said smiling.
We walked for a while before I decided to go see how Thorin was doing. I said goodbye to the brothers for now and went off to Thorin and I's bedroom. I knocked on the door and opened it. "Thorin?" I asked. "In the bathroom!" I heard him said. I waddled over to the door and saw him lounging in a bathtub...with bubbles. "You hypocrite...you said you didn't like bubbles!" I laughed. "Yes well, I can change my mind can't i?" He said smiling. I huffed and sat on the edge of the tub. "I suppose. If I can change my mind about your beard then you can change yours about bubbles." I said. Thorin sat up, "what about my beard??" He asked. I placed my hand on his cheek and rubbed his beard with my thumb. "I didn't like it at first, but after the first week of the journey it's grew on me." I said with a giggle. Thorin raided an eyebrow and sunk back into the water. "Well alright. I see your walking." He said. I nodded and held up my leg that still had a light coat of frost. "Echo healed the pain. She said when this melts then I'll be perfectly healed." I said smiling. Thorin smiled, "that's wonderful my love!" He said standing up. I looked away for a moment and handed him a towel. "Don't be so shy. Nothing you haven't seen before." Thorin said. I laughed slightly and looked at him with a towel now wrapped around his waist. "Yeah, I know." I said following him into the bedroom. "You know we need to talk about the wedding." He said. I held my stomach and laid down on the bed. "Yeah I was thinking about that....can we wait on that?" I asked. Thorin looked back at me. "Wait? Why?" He asked as he pulled on underwear and pants. "Well, I mean...I'd rather not have a stomach the size of a child on my wedding day." I laughed. "So you want to wait until the baby is born?" Thorin asked. I nodded, "that's not to far from now anyways. Not to long of a wait." I said. Thorin sighed then smile. "I suppose that would be alright, then our firstborn can be at our wedding." He said with a smile as he sat on the bed looking at me. I placed my hands on my stomach, "little bugger better get here fast," I said. "Whys that?" He asked. I smirked and jumped up before hugging him, tackling him down to the bed. "Because~" I said before pecking his lips. "I can't wait to officially call you my husband~!" I laughed before kissing his lips lovingly.
