Thorin POV

We all started running down the mountain as fast as possible. I held Tygr tightly. Soon we say Wargs where extremely close behind. "What do we do?! It's a dead end!" Bofur yelled. Suddenly Tygr pointed and yelled, "we can clump the trees!!!" She said with a brilliant looking expression. "Smart idea Tygr." I said, looking at the small girls excited expression. "Up into the trees, all of you! Come on, climb! Bilbo, climb!" Gandalf yelled. I tossed Tygr up to Kili who climbed higher. "Thorin!!" She yelled trying to get out of Kilis grasp. "No! Tygr stay with Kili!" I yelled. "But I can help you!!!" Her tiny voice strained. "No! You are a child therefore useless at the moment!! You don't belong in a battle!! You won't survive in the wild!" I yelled, my mind was clouded with the thought of her getting killed. I stopped when I heard a hauntingly familiar voice behind me. "Azog?!" I said astonished looking at the pale Orc. " Nuzdigid? Nuzdi gast?((do you smell it? A scent of fear?))" He said before taking a large inhale. "Ganzilig-i unarug obod nauzdanish, Torin undag Train-ob. ((I remember your father reeked of it, Thorin son of Thrain.))" he said. I felt my blood boil. "It cannot be..." I whispered. "Kod, Toragid biriz." [subtitle: That one is mine.)) Worori-da! ((Kill the others!))" he said before Wargs started running at us and clawing at the tree. It shook violently making it difficult to hold on. We all leapt to the furthest tree, the only one they didn't uproot yet. "Fili!" I heard Gandalf yell. Suddenly a flaming pinecone was tossed into my hands. We all started to throw the pinecones at the Wargs, catching them on fire. I looked back to make sure Tygr was okay. Kili still had a good grip on her as she threw pinecone after pinecone. The look on her face was that of hurt. I didn't mean to hurt her...but she needed to hear it. She isn't as strong as she was before.

I looked back to see the flaming Wargs where retreating and running back. I looked and saw Azog, looking right back at me. I remembered what he did to my grandfather...and my people. My rage grew until I couldn't hold back. I stood, and began to run towards him. "Thorin!!!!" I heard Tygr scream. "THORIN NO!" Dwalin yelled. As I ran towards him his warg jumped from the rock he was on and hit me with it's massive paw, knocking the wind from my lungs. I layed on the ground then felt it's jaws pick me up. I growled and swung my sword hitting it in the head with the pommel of the sword, causing it to throw me away. I laid, my vision gone blurry. "Biriz torag khobdudol. ((Bring me the dwarfs head))" Azog said. I then saw an Orc setting his sword at my throat. I couldn't move, I had no strength. I waiting for the strike to come, until a mass of black roared and tackled the Orc, knocking it off me. I looked to my side and saw Tygr, in wolf form biting through the orcs neck. She was not big, nor as strong but still did it. I watched until my vision went black, I could hear her voice. "Don't touch him!!!" I heard Tygr scream. Suddenly I heard yelling, the sound of wind and Wargs screeching and orcs yelling. I felt something wrap around my body and lift me off the ground, until I felt nothing and heard one last thing, "THORIN!" It was Kili, Tygr and Fili.

I felt a heat above my chest, I felt air fill my lungs and my heart beat again. I opened my eyes to see Gandalf looking over me. "Thorin! Thorin." He said. "The halfling...the child...?" I muttered. "It's alright, Bilbo and Tygr are safe, they are here." He said. I sat up, only to have Dwalin and Kili help me. I shrugged them off and looked at Tygr, who was currently being held by Bofur. She jumped out of his arms and ran to me only to stop and look up at me. I felt rage in my chest that she didn't listen, not a single word I said. Utterly disobeyed. " You! What were you doing? You nearly got yourself killed! Did I not say that you would be a burden? That you would not survive in the wild and that you had no place amongst us?" I growled looking at her. I watched her stumble back slightly and her big green eyes watered. "I-i" she stuttered, her tail was flat down and her ears where flattened in shame. I felt my heard beat faster and I looked at her. She saved my life, in the tiniest form, not knowing wether she would die or not...not caring. "I have never been so wrong in all my life." I said before kneeling down and scooping her up into a tight hug. I felt her wrap her arms around my neck and hug me tightly. I let her go and set her back down, though staying on one kneel to her level. "I am sorry I doubted you." I said. Tygr shuffled her feet and smiled shyly. "No...I would have doubted me too...I'm small and weak. No where close to the warriors any of you are." She said with a smile, causing the company to laugh. I smiled and stood up, placing my hand around her shoulder. "Is that what I think it is?" Bilbo asked coming to the other side of me. "Erebor, The Lonely Mountain. The last of the great dwarf kingdoms of Middle-earth." Gandalf said. "Our home." I said. "Your house is really big..." I heard Tygr mutter. I chuckled and nodded. "A raven! The birds are going to the mountain." Tygr said jumping up and down and pointing. "My dear Tygr that is a Thrush." Gandalf said. "Oh...well it looks like a Raven." She muttered crossing her arms and blowing a bit of hair out of her face. I smiled and picked her up, holding her on my waist. "But we will take it as a sign, a good omen." I said. Tygr smiled and nodded.

"You're right. I do believe the worst is behind us." Bilbo said.
