Chapter 48: I Do

Thorin POV

I watched utterly confused as Tygr walked right past me, almost to the brim of tears. I looked back and made sure Allistor was still asleep before closing the door and running after her. I couldn't see anything since it was so dark...and she probably formed into a wolf. "Tygr...my love...please I only want to help." I said. I stayed quiet before hearing the fainted sniff. I turned and saw Tygr sitting in a corner with her knees to her chest...crying her eyes out silently. "Oh Tygr...what happened?" I asked trying to stay calm...when really wanted to yell "who did this?!" I sat down in front of her and reached, grabbing her shaking hand. "Why didn't you tell Beorn about us or Allistor when inviting him here?" She choked out. "I was going to tell him this morning, what happened?" I asked. She sat her head back against the wall, her breathing was uneven. "He doesn't want me to marry you. Or be with you at all. He's disgusted that I bore the child of a dwarf and he told my my parents would be d-disgusted with me." She said before another flow of tears fell. I was shock, not exactly knowing what to say. "Why...why would your parents be disgusted?" I asked. "They hated dwarves with a burning passion...I was the only one out of my family who liked them. I loved hobbits and dwarves...mostly because all of them where close to my height." She said, a slight laugh behind her voice. I scooted beside her and lifted her into my lap then moved back against the wall where she was previously sitting. She leaned her head against my chest. "Do you still want to marry me?" I asked...honestly scared of the answer. She sat up and turned to look at me...her expression soft. "Thorin...I would be so lost without you...of course i want to marry you. Ether way though...Beorn doesn't even know about the blood bond we made. Even if we don't get married or Durin forbid we get separated...I made a promise to stand by your side and protect you until the day i die." She said, I looked to see her looking at the scar on her hand, a slight grin creasing her lips. I held out my hand showing mine, she pressed them together and held my hand. "What are you going tell Beorn?" I asked. She sighed, "well...he told me I have two days before the wedding to make the decision to make my parents proud. Can I be completely honest?" She said turning around, straddling my lap. "I would prefer it if you where." I said with a smile. "I don't really care wether or not I make my parents proud. I always tried throughout my childhood to make them proud and it never worked...they only paid attention to Beorn. Saying yes to marring you is the first thing I've ever done to do something that makes me happy. I can never help but smile at the thought of being by your side forever." She said, and sure enough a smile was forming on her face. "And if Beorn doesn't like it...he can leave." She said. I grinned and nodded, "yeah, if Dis don't like you I would just ignore her and marry you anyways. She's not the one raising children and sleeping with you every night...how would it affect her?" I said. "That's what I said to Beorn!! Only...ya know about him." She said. I smiled and nodded. "Hey Thorin..." She said playing with the buttons on my shirt. "Yes my love?" I asked watching her. "Can we move the wedding up to today?" She asked. My heart pounded, "y-yes of course if that's what you want." I said with a smile. She smiled brightly and nodded. I felt my entire body fill with happiness and stood up hugging her tightly. She squealed and held onto me. I set her down and held her face in my hands. "I'm going to tell everyone the wedding had been moved to today." I said. She held my hands and nodded. "I'm also going to send Dis-" she cut me off. "Wait!! I invited Tauriel to the wedding and I want her to help me get ready, as well as Dis." She said. "Tauriel? Who is that?" I asked. "Well...she's an elf from Mirkwood...however she is my friend so you don't say a thing. Just make sure she is here." She said. "I will send Echo to get her." I said. She smiled and nodded. "I'm going to go find Dis and tell her." She said before pressing her lips to mine and giggling. "Yay! We're getting married~!" She cheered as she skipped out of the tunnel. I smiled and went back to our bedroom seeing Allistor half away. "Allistor, wake up. Your going to come help me get everything in order." I said. "What? What in order?" He asked. "Your mother and I have moved our wedding up to today. Now come on! Get up!" I said happily. He jumped out of bed and followed me out the door.
