Tygr POV
I let go of Thorin and rubbed my stomach. "They'll be here soon you know." I said. "What?" He asked, "you only just became pregnant." Thorin said. "Second time I've had to explain this...okay a skin changers pregnancy time depends on what animal they can change into." I said. "How long does a wolf stay pregnant?" He asked. "60 to 70 days." I said. "W-what?!?! 60 days?! We need don't even have a name, or a bedroom for them, nor do we even have Erebor back together that's not enough time!" Thorin said. I laughed and covered his mouth. "My love calm down, it will work out perfectly fine~" I said calmingly. Thorin looked at me concerned. "Well...alright...if you say so. Swear you will tell me if you need ANYTHING." He said. I giggled and nodded. "Of course my love." I said. "Should we go tell the company? Gloin and Bofur already know." I said. "Oh, well that explains them acting odd." He said. I smiled and nodded. "Thorin!!" I heard Dwalin yell. Thorin instantly grabbed my hand and pulled me along with him out to the balcony. "What's going on?" I asked. "Bard, he wants to speak with you." Dwalin said. Thorin looked over the balcony...and saw Bard looking up at him. "Tygr, tell them." He said before kissing my forehead and leaving to go speak with the man. "Tell us what?" Dwalin asked. I felt my face heat up. "Well...heh...Thorin and I ar-" I was cut off by an excited Bofur. "They're having a baby!!!!!" He said happily. Suddenly company erupted into cheer and Kili and Fili hugged me. "We're getting a cousin!!!!" Kili said excitedly. Fili laughed and let go, prying his brother off. "What are the names your thinking of?" Balin asked. "Well, I told Thorin he could name our first born...however if it's a boy I personally like the name Allistor." I said grinning at my stomach. "That's a lovely name actually!" Ori said. I laughed, "thank you!" Dwalin grinned, "and if it's a lass?" He asked. I shrugged. "I have no idea..." I said shaking my head. "How many do you two think you will have?" Gloin asked. I scratched the back of my head, "my honest limit is 8." I said. "What if the last time it's twins?" Fili asked. "Haha Thorin said the same thing. Then it will be nine then I'm done." I said with a snicker, followed by laughs from the company. Balin then placed a hand on my shoulder, "we're all very happy for you two." He said. I smiled and hugged the dwarf. "Thank you Balin." I said. "Tygr." I heard Thorin's voice behind me. "What is it? What did he say?" I asked. Before he could reply I heard Bards voice yelling. "Thorin!" He yelled. We all ran to the balcony and looked at him on his horse. "If you just give us what we want, this entire thing can be avoided!" He yelled. "Will you have peace, or war?" He yelled. I looked over at Thorin who had a venomous look in his eye. "I will have war." He growled. Bard nodded and turned before riding away back to Dale. "What?!?! THORIN! I thought we agreed you where going to share your wealth!" I yelled. He looked at me with concern. "This isn't about that. I want you to go to our room and stay there. Do not come out." He said. "W-what? Thorin no! There has to be another way! What is this about." I asked frantically. "GO!" He yelled at first then sighed and held my face in his hands, "please my love, put your headstrong mind aside just this once and do as I ask." He said. I furrowed my eyebrows in concern and nodded. "Alright..." I looked back at Bilbo who stood silently. "Bilbo...will you come with me? I don't want to be alone." I asked. Bilbo looked at me then Thorin. "Go with her." Thorin said. Bilbo nodded, "of course, come on." He said coming to my side and walking with me towards Thorins room.
I sat quietly on the bed while Bilbo sat in a large chair looking worried. "Do you have any idea what was said between Bard and Thorin?" I asked. Bilbo nodded, "i do...but I also need to tell you something...you cannot tell anyone. Especially Thorin." He said. "What is it?" I asked. "I found the Arkenstone..." He said. "What?!? That's wonderful! Where is it??" I asked. "I gave it to Thranduil...in hopes that if he has that then Thorin will give him the white gems in exchange." He said. I nodded, "that's...quite brilliant actually." I said with a grin. Bilbo nodded, "however...he doesn't want the white gems anymore..." He said. "What? What does he want? Money?" I asked. Bilbo shook his head and looked at me. "He...he wants you." Bilbo said. My eyes widened. "What...why?" I asked. "Well...I've been sneaking off to go spy and see what has been going on. I guess ever since we where in Mirkwood, Thranduil met you and fell In love with you." He said. I shook my head, "that's not possible, elves only love once. There's no way he could love me." I said. "That's what I thought...but he loves you...and he wants you." Bilbo said. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair, "lovely. So what did Bard say to Thorin." I said. "Well I heard the end of the conversation. What I heard was Bard say that if Thorin gave them the money and gave you to Thranduil then they would give back something they know he wants." He said. I nodded, continuing to listen. "Thorin was furious and denied that there was anything in the world that would mean more to him than you," I felt my heart skip s beat at this." And that he would go to war before he would lose you." Bilbo finished. "And...after that?" I asked. "I left after that so that he would not know I was gone when he returned." Bilbo said. "Ugh, this war is going to be my fault!!" I groaned as I laid back on the bed, with fistfuls of hair in my hands. "No it's not!" Bilbo said panicked, "and you shouldn't stress! It's bad for the baby!" He said. I sat up and took a deep breath, "keep a level head...that's a
the best thing to do right now." I said as I stood and went to the door. I pulled the door...though it wouldn't budge. "What in mahals name..." I said before banging on the door. "THORIN OAKENSHIELD!" I yelled. No response. "The bastards locked us in." I spat glaring at the door. I stomped back to the bed and sat down. "That man infuriates me sometimes." I said looking to bilbo...except he was gone. "WHAT?!?! BILBO WHERE DID YOU GO?!?" I yelled slightly freaking out.Bilbo POV
I watched Tygr yell in shock of my disappearing...except I was still in the chair. 'If I keep the ring on...I'll stay invisible...and she can't take her anger out on me' I thought. I stood up and held a vile of liquid Thorin had given me. I felt bad for not telling Tygr the entire truth...but I believed it was for the best.
*earlier that day*
I sat in a tunnel waiting for Thorin to finish speaking with Bard. "Halfling! Where are you?" I heard the king yell. "H-here, what is it that you needed?" I asked standing up and meeting him at the entrance of the tunnle. He suddenly pulled a small vile of liquid out of his coat. "I never thought I would need to use this," he said. He held it up for me to look at. "This is a sleeping serum. You pour it over the head of someone and it causes them to fall dead asleep for a while. I need you to use this on Tygr." He said. My eyes widened in shock. "What?! Why?!" I asked. "Because, Thranduil is going to try and take her away from me. The day I let that happen will be the day I die. He said that they had something to trade but I never listened, nothing means more to me than her." He said. "So...your going to war with the elves and the men?" I asked taking the vile from his hands. "Yes...we are. However...Tygr is pregnant." He said. I was shocked for a moment then understood why he wanted to use this on her. "So...you want to put her to sleep so she won't try to join in the fight, therefore your child will be safe." I said. Thorin nodded, "I'm asking this of you as a friend. Please do this for me. As much as I am aware of her capabilities in combat I don't want to rush her getting hurt, or for Durin's sake killed." He said. I nodded, agreeing with him 100%. "When we go back, I'm going to send Tygr to our room then explain what is going on to the others. I need you to go with her." He said. I nodded, "alright. Understood."
*back to the bedroom*
I walked closer to Tygr and twisted the cap off of the vile. I took a deep breath before pouring it over her head. Nothing happened except for her freaking out as to what just splashed into her head...until I saw her slow down and her eyes droop. 'goodnight Tygr...when you wake up all will be right.' I said to myself as she fell onto the plush comforter, dead asleep.
