Tygr POV
We heard the door open and my heart pounded. Gloin carried a little bundle of blankets toward us. He went to hand it to Thorin. "Hey!! He didn't just push that baby out of him! I call dibs on first!" I whined. Thorin smiled and gestured for him to be given to me. I took the bundle in my arms then froze as I brought the baby to me. I looked on his cute little face...and saw bright green eyes. "He got my eyes..." I said astonished. I couldn't help but smiled as he reached up and grabbed my nose. I giggled. "May I see him?" Thorin asked. I nodded and handed him to him. "He's beautiful..." Thorin said with a look of pride. "I'm sure he'll grow up to get your stunning good looks." I said with a wink. Thorin smiled, "have you two thought of a name?" Gloin asked. "...I haven't decided on one I liked. However...I decided that the woman who bared my first born heir should be the one to name him." Thorin said. My eyes widened. "R-really??" I asked with a wide smile. Thorin nodded and handed him back to me. I looked at his cute little face and gently ran my finger tip over his cheek. "Allistor..." I said. "Allistor?" Thorin asked. I nodded, "why Allistor?" Thorin asked. "It was my grandfathers name." I said. "Then Allistor it is." Thorin said happily.
Thorin POV
I watched Gloin leave the room and I pulled a chair to the side of the bed. I watched my bride look at our child with such love and care. "He's so perfect..." She whispered before looking at me, I saw tears in her eyes. "My love why are you crying?" I wiping the tears away. "I didn't think this moment would come..." She said. I furrowed by brows, "whys that?" I asked. "I thought I was going to die beside you on the battlefield. It never occurred to me that I would make it to this moment until a little while ago." She said. I grinned, "well, you did. And I could never be more proud." I said. She held him out to me and I took him gently in my arms. I heard her laugh lightly. "What?" I asked. "You look like your holding a glass vase, you need to relax." She said. "Make sure to support his head because his neck can't yet." She said. I did as told and relaxed. I looked down at Allistor's bright green eyes. "Their like summer grass." I said. Tygr nodded, "yeah, they kind of are." She said before yawning. "Are you tired my love?" I asked. "No, i just gave birth I have the energy to slay a troll!" She said. I rolled my eyes, "you should rest." I said. She sat up, "then I'm going to our room." She said before standing. I jumped up, "are you alright to walk?" I asked. She waved her hand, "yeah, I'm sure." She said. I then noticed the swelling in her stomach rapidly going down. She yawned and stretched her body as she walked down the hall going to our bedroom door. "Do you want me to take him?" She asked getting ready to grab him. "I'm going to show him his room." I said. She smiled, "his room?! You made a nursery?" she asked. I nodded. "I wanna see!" She said. She took him from my arms and followed me to the next door. I pushed it open and heard an audible gasp. "Oh Thorin...it's beautiful." She said. Inside was a cave like room, with various gems handing from the ceiling and a crib against the wall along with a chest and dresser. "When did you have this made?" She asked. "While you where still knocked out." I said. She carried Allistor over to the crib and laid him down. He looked up at us before sticking his thumb in his mouth and falling asleep. "Huh, something tells me this is going to be an easy baby." She whispered. I nodded and led her out of the room. "Come here," I said leading her back into our room. I went to the wall and opened a small door I put in the wall, more like a window into the nursery. "If he cries we can hear it." I said with a grin. "Brilliant!" She said happily. I looked through to see him still asleep and couldn't tear my eyes away. "You recovered remarkably fast from giving birth." I said. Though I got no response. I turned around and saw Tygr hugging a pillow, going to sleep." I grinned and went to get in on the other side. I laid on my back and threw an arm over my eyes. I suddenly felt Tygr slip her hand into mind and lock her fingers with mine. "I love you." She murmured into the pillow. I rolled over and kissed her cheek before throwing an arm around her waist pulling her closer to me. "I love you too." I said softly before going to sleep, with the peace knowing the love of my life was safely in my arms...and my first born son was fast asleep in the next room.
