Tygr POV

"UUGGHHHHH THORIIIIIINNNNN" I yelled. Thorin came running into the bedroom. "Can I have ale?" I asked. Thorin rolled his eyes. "No! The baby will be here any day now!" He said. I groaned. "I know...can I have food then?" I asked. Thorin nodded, "I'll send Bofur in and you tell him what you want. I have things to take care of." He said. I frowned. "When I'm small and fast again, I'm coming after you and your mine." I said with a smile. Thorin smiled and nodded, "gladly. I will see you soon my love." He said before leaving. "Bye, I guess." I said. I sighed and patted my stomach, "is today gonna be the day little bugger?" I asked. "I wonder what color your hair will be..." I muttered. "Won't it be black?" I flinched hearing Bofur come through the door. "Hello Bofur!" I said happily. "And no, not necessarily." I said. "Whys that?" He asked. "Well," I said sitting up. "My parents both had bright blonde hair, almost white. Yet Beorn and I both had dark hair. Him brown, me black. See no matter who a skin changer mates with their hair can be any color. For all I know my kids could come out with bright red hair." I laughed. Bofur grinned, "then you'll have come colorful children! Now, what is it you want to eat?" He asked. I stood up, "ugh, I'll just rummage through the kitchen. Care to join me?" I asked holding my arm out. Bofur smiled and linked it with his, "would love too!" He said. I laughed as we walked down to the kitchen.

Inside there where dwarfish women everywhere. Luckily by now they all where informed not to be rude to me since I am Thorins bride. "Lady Tygr! Thank goodness! We must talk to you!" A nice woman said to me, her name was Dora. "Yes?" I asked. "We need your input on what wedding cake you would like." I smiled at the word. "I'll have to get back to you on the wedding cake...but could you make me and Bofur up a little chocolate one? With strawberries...oh and come rabbit stew on the side?" I asked. Dora nodded and ran off. Bofur gave me an odd look, "don't judge me I'm pregnant." I said before taking his wrist and walking off to the throne room. I was glad that I had decided to put on a nicer dress today, I always felt bad when I went in there slacking on my appearance. To my delight, my husband was in thee speaking with Dwalin. "Thorin! I have to talk to you for a minute!" I said. He looked at the shood off Dwalin. "Yes my love?" He asked. "So Dora asked me about the wedding cake. I was thinking White with buttermilk frosting." I said with a cheeky smile like that of a child asking for a new toy. "That sounds perfect. Did you get food?" He asked. I nodded, "Their making me some right now." I said. "What are they making?" He asked. "Heh...cake and stew." I said. Thorin laughed and punched the bridge of his nose. "Your adorable. Now go off and eat, I have business to attend too." He said. I crossed my arms, "what is this "business"? You've been saying that for two weeks and won't let me go outside." I said. Thorin kissing my head and rubbed my head, sending a pleasurable shiver down my spine. "Don't worry your pretty little head, it's a surprise." He said. I rolled my eyes and nodded, "alright alright." I said before turned and walking back down the walkway. "You know! This place should get windows! I kinda miss the sunlight!" I said. "Happy to hear that!" Thorin yelled back. "Do you know what he's up to?" I asked Bofur. He shook his head, "no I'm afraid I've been busy with work to know what he's up too." He said. I sighed and nodded, "alright, well I'm hungry so let's go eat random food while they make our food. Then eat our food!" I said. "Sounds glorious!" Bofur laughed rubbing his hands together. I laughed and clapped.

Thorin POV

I watched Tygr waddle away with Bofur. "She looks adorable pregnant." I said. Dwalin rolled his eyes. "Aye, just a doll. Anyways, the house is almost ready were just finishing the final touches. Furniture and such." Dwalin said. I nodded, "perfect. Let's go see it." I said before making my way out of Erebor.

We walked along the shore before we came across the shore and came to see a nice house, perched to have a beautiful of the lake and the land. "I think she will love it." Dwalin said. I grinned, "I hope so. She's been telling me she misses the fresh air and waking up to sunlight." I said. "I'm not surprised...the lass grew up in a tree!" Dwalin said. "Huh...forgot about that." I said to myself before turning back. "Are you excited for the baby?" Dwalin asked me. "Very, it's sort of like pulling teeth now waiting for it." I said. Dwalin laughed. "Aye, well the wee thing should be poppin out any day now." He said. I couldn't help but laugh, "mahal Dwalin, don't say that around her or her snarky jokes will never stop!" I laughed as we entered Erebor. "She'll make snarky jokes regardless." Dwalin said. I nodded in agreement and walked over to the kitchen to see Bofur and Tygr eating cake and stew. I walked behind her and slid my hands around her waist and onto her stomach. "Is it good?" I asked. She turned at me in shock with food in her mouth. She held up a forkful of cake. I took it and ate it. "Delicious." I said. She smiled then her face froze. I heard the sound of water dripping. "What is that?" I asked suddenly Tygr grabbed the collar of my clothes and swallowed harshly. "That was me!!" She said. "Did you wet yourself?!" I asked confused. "No I didn't wet myself!! THE BABY! HELLO!!!!!" She yelled. "Wha...OH!" I panicked catching on to what she ment before scooping her up into my arms. "get Gloin! Meet us in the infirmary!" I yelled before taking off running. "Agh! Thorin!" Tygr said in pain. "Hold on Tygr, it will be over soon!" I said as I slid to the entrance of the infirmary and set her in the bed. Gloin came running in after me. "Alright Tygr! It's time, Thorin hold her hand." He said. I took her hand, only to have it instantly crushed. She screamed slightly in pain and panted. "Alright Tygr," Gloin said putting her legs up in stirrups and looking at her. "I need you to push." I said. "C-can you two leave!?" She yelled at Bofur and Dwalin and panicked and ran out of the room. "My love, you need to push!" I said. She pushed and I saw tears stream down her cheeks. "I can see the head!" Gloin said. "Push!" I yelled. She grabbed the back of my neck, "DONT YELL AT ME YOU DID THIS!" She screamed before screaming and pushing as hard as possible. "AGH SON OF A BITCH!" She screamed before her head hit the pillow behind her. She took a deep breath before pushing one final time...then we heard the piercing cry of a baby. My eyes widened as I looked at Gloin. He smiled at me, "it's a boy!" He said. I smiled and cheered. "It's a boy Tygr!" I said happily. She looked at me, her chest rising and falling heavily. "Yay!" She said out of breath. "We'll get this little guy washed and wrapped and bring him to you alright?" Gloin said. I nodded. "Oh mahal..." I said covering my mouth. I felt Tygrs hand on my leg. "What is it my love?" She asked faintly. "We're parents...your a mother...and I'm a father..." I said with a wide smile on my face. I pushed Tygrs hair off of her forehead and kissed her lips before heading the door open once again.
