I stayed in the corner for quite some time...fell asleep actually. I jilted awake to the sound of Bofur calling my name. "Tygr! Where are us lass?" He yelled. I stood and peaked around the corner. "Hey..." I said quietly. "Lass! There you are! We've been worried!" He said smiling. "Sorry I worried you..." I said quietly, the weight of the pressure on my back was crushing me. "Something the matter lass?" Bofur asked. "It doesn't really matter..." I said. Bofur suddenly hugged me tightly, "please lass, I won't tell anyone. I promise." He said. I sniffed trying to avoid tears. "It's Thorin..." I said quietly looking up at him. "What about him?" He asked. "Well...he asked me to marry him..." I said quietly. "That's great!!" Bofur said with a smile.

I felt overjoyed that Thorin asked her, I would happily have her as our queen. I stopped when I suddenly heard a sniffle and a choked sob. I kneeled down to look up at Tygrs face and saw her cheeks where wet with tears. "Lass! Why are you crying?! This is a happy thing!" I said. She bit her knuckle and shook her head. She looked up at me as I stood up straight. "W-what if it's not a good idea! What if he just likes me now but will he twenty years from now?! What will he do when he realizes that I'm too immature to trust to rule beside him? What if one day he just leaves me for another woman! What if he gets bored of me and cheats on me! What if I end up falling madly in love then he stops loving me...I'm so scared!" She choked out. I felt terrible for her. She was terrified of commitment and getting attached...that was obvious. "What about him is making you think all these things will happen?" I asked. "It's not him specifically...it's everyone I've ever grown to care about in that way...I've lost everyone of them." She said. "Who else have you lost?" I asked. She sighed, "oh...it was a guy...I used to be very close too." She said. I could tell that topic was uncomfortable for her so I pressed no furthur. "He sort of reminds me of Thorin..." She said. "What happened between you two?" I asked. She sighed, "well... We became very close...and he was the first man I'd ever fell in love with...that is until I came home to find him in bed three whores." She said, her voice dripped venom. I wasn't sure what to say about that...shocked. "I'm so sorry lass..." I said. "Do you honestly think that Thorin would do that to you?" I asked. She shrugged her shoulders. " I don't know, I h-" she was cut off by Dwalins loud voice. "Tygr!" He yelled. Tygr ran out of her hiding spot and to him. "What's wrong!" She asked. "It's Thorin, you need to see him." Dwalin said. I heard Tygr gasp and sprint off.

"Thorin!!" I yelled as I slipped into the gold room. I saw him standing in the center of the room looking at all the gold. "Thorin?" I asked. He looked up at me...though his face looked odd...a dark expression covered it. I hesitantly walked down and closer to him, he looked down at me...almost disgusted. "What are you doing in here?" He spat. "Thorin...you don't look well." I sai reaching for him. "Come on, let's go get some fresh air. The gold will be here when you return." I said tugging on his arm. "No. Leave me." He said, his voice sounded tainted. This wasn't my Thorin...this was a stranger. "W-what?" I asked. He glared at me, "leave!" He yelled. I flinched and backed away slightly. "Thorin, what's wrong with you?! Why are you acting like this!" I asked. "You wouldn't understand. Your just a child." He said turning his back to me. I glared at him and crossed my arms. "Hm, I wouldn't call me that." I said. "Why?" He asked. "Because you slept with me. Not so wise to say you slept with a child if you catch my drift." I spat before storming around him to look into his eyes. "Thorin you need to get away from this gold! It's twisting your mind!" I said concerned. "You know nothing!" He said shoving me away causing me to trip and fall into a pile of golden coins. 'Is this the dragon sickness? Is this what it does?' I thought to myself. I pulled myself off and ran at him before knocking him down. "Thorin! Pull yourself out of this!! This isn't you!!!" I yelled. He looked at me with fire in his eyes, swiftly he got back up and stormed towards me. 'I should change...though would that honestly help? He will feel more threatened' I thought as I backed away. "T-Thorin please!" I said as I continued trying to get away. "How dare you touch me like that!" He bellowed. I felt my back ram against the cold stone of a wall. "Well you wouldn't listen to me! Thorin please this isn't you!! It's the gold!!" I yelled as he closed in with a hostile gaze. I panicked and swung my fist into his jaw, knocking him into shock. He stood still, his hand on his jaw. "T-Thorin I'm sorry I didn't mean to I was just sc-" I was cut off by a harsh blow to my cheek. I shrieked and dropped to the ground. I held my face tightly and tried not to let the tears of pain forming fall. 'He hit me...he would never hit me...' I thought. "Get out of my sight." He spat. I looked up to see he was completely unhindered by the punch I gave him...though in this form I was undoubtably weaker than him. "No." I choked. "What?!" He asked. "I said no! You are not Thorin...the Thorin I knew would have NEVER hit me!" I screamed. I then noticed above Kili, Fili, Dwalin, Balin, and Bofur all looking on in shock. "To the dungeon." He said bluntly. "What?!" I asked shocked. "DWALIN!" He yelled. Dwalin instantly came down. "Aye?" He asked. "Lock her up. Make sure she can't get free." He said before walking away. I looked at Dwalin who had a look of regret in his eyes. "Come with me...please don't fight." He said. I sighed and took his hand that he held out to me and followed him. "Dwalin. No special treatment. Lock her in the dungeon." Thorin said from afar. I felt a lump in my throat form hearing his voice utter such words. Dwalin led me away from the treasure room and out of Thorin's sight. Suddenly he stopped and turned before pulling me tightly to his chest. "I'm so sorry lass...I should have never come to get you." He said. I was shocked and hugged the burly dwarf back. He let me go and sighed, "come on..." He said.

I followed Dwalin down...deeper and deeper into the depths of Erebor. We came to a wooden door and Dwalin kicked it open. I snickered, "what? I don't have a key." He said, I saw a small grin play on his lips. He grabbed a ring of keys off the wall before turning the corner to see a line of cells. I watched Dwalin Light the torched sticking out from the wall and the room lit up. He unlocked the first cell, which was the cleanest. "Come on...in you go." He said. I sighed and went into the cell with no argument. "I can assure you," he said before closing and locking the door "I will come and check on you every half an hour okay, or I'll send someone." He said. I nodded and watched his saddened face as he placed the keys back on the wall before taking his leave. I looked around...it was cold...and rather dark. "I hate being alone..." I whispered as I sat down with my back against the wall and my knees pulled to my chest. I caught a glimpse of the bracelet on my wrist that Thorin had given me. I glared at it before tears began to fill my eyes. I looked around and realized there was absolutely nobody to hide my tears from...therefore I let them out. I made no sound though. I felt tears stream down my face and my heart began to crack. "Why did he do this to me?" I said quietly before leaning my head against the wall, closing my eyes. I felt the silence press against my ears...it was terrifying yet peaceful. 'He's been consumed by a curse and turned to a stranger.' I thought to myself. I tried to relax in the silence and possibly sleep a little while. I felt myself begin to drift off.

"Hello!!!"
