Dead Hero's Heart

Chapter 9

In the city of Fukuoka, a place which is known for the many people residing there and the even more passers-by, at that time of the day, there was total panic spread among them. And the reason, couldn't be other than the gigantic creature that was just moment ago flying through the air and demanding from them to tell it who is the stronger one.

They saw it head straight for a tall building in which a Cafe was and crash right on it, breaking the giant glass window and parts of the building making its inside to get covered in rumble. However, little did they know about who were inside that Cafe. Under the pieces of concrete covering him, the red winged hero Hawk raised with his wings covering the body of one of the workers that was unfortunate enough to come out at that moment.

Following him, another hero stood up,  his whole body covered in flames signaling that he is ready for a fight. "Who is the stronger!?" was heard the same voice from before again and out of the thick smoke of dust that had been created, a monsterous creature whose body outline made it look like it was wearing a strange hood appeared.

Endeavor got into a fighting position in front of the intimitating presence, showing that he was not afraid of it. "That would have to be me!" he proclaimed and the monster seemed to analyze him for a bit. Finding this as the perfect chance, Hawk sent some of his wings out to go in search for any victims trapped inside the building and escort them out before things get to nasty.

"Weak" said the unique Nomu and it shot the pro hero outside, using the ability of it to make its hand more elastic and extentable. Shifting quickly its weight and cracking the surface of the floor it was standing on, it turned on the jets that were coming out of its shoulders and with an jump, pierced through the wind in order to arrive to the side of the hero's body.

Taking account of it on time, Endeavor concentrated his raging flames to his feet and hand hands, creating in each of them a flame throwers whose force was enough to give him the ability to fly. Maneuvering in the air, he dodged just in time the hit that was coming for him and getting engulfed in fire again, he headed to the monster ready to deliver a blast of fire or, as he calls it, Hellfire fist - Jet Burn.

Successly landing his attack after catching the Nomu unprepared for it, he sent it flying a few feet away, making sure that they had a distance great enough from the building so civilians don't get injured. While his attack had caused nevertheless a bit of damage, as it seemed it was far from over as its body started the regeneration progress, recovering in mare seconds from an attack that some would need to spend weeks at a hospital to do so.

Gritting his teeth, the number one hero watched as the High End nomu laughed. "Fire of that caliber can't kill me!" it shouted. 'That nomu is stronger than the ones I fought back in Hosu. It is unique and its ability of speach is only a trait of its overall intelligence' observed the hero who started to ready himself for a big fight.

Starting to dash at it again, he tried to subdue it by using Flashfire fist - Hell Spider. He wanted to keep it alive so that he can gain information from it. But Hood, as this Nomu was called, dodged the attack and with its extendable arm took hold of him and, with the force and momentum that it had created, slammed the pro through the whole buildings surface.

Piercing through the entire building, it send the hero crashing to the other side of it. Finally having taken enough, Endeavor incinarated the limb that was wrapped around him, only for the nomu to regenerate it and start to chase the pro around. Raising their speed by every second that was passing by, it didn't take long before both of them were two blurbs in the air that circled continuesly around the huge construction.

However, Hoods abilities were proven to be greater than the flames hero's. Catching up with him, it took hold of him again and started flying higher, going into a completely different altitude from the one they were previously fighting at. And then, it slammed the hero back down with tremendous force that the power needed to be created, someone could argue that it was matching All Might's.
