With class 1-A...
"Classmates, you heard Mr Aizawa! Our lessons will soon resume and we need to be on top shape! I will advice that everyone leaves, first and foremost to let Uraraka rest and also, to deal with any obligation you might have left unresolved and need to take care of now that we are returning to school!", Iida had said and the students were forced to reluctantly leave Uraraka as they returned back to their dorm. She could clearly remember Mina complaining about not being able to talk to her longer while Kirishima dragged her away, the boy being too pumped up at the prospect of training that he seemed to ignore his friend state.
Last to leave was Iida, who was monitoring his classmates as they moved down the halls, sighing at the havoc they were creating before he let his eyes avert to Izuku. "You won't be coming Midoriya?". They boy glanced at Uraraka before quickly shaking his head negatively. "Maybe later. I will stay with Ochako a while longer". The other boy nodded, slightly readjusting his glasses. "Farewell then. Though I would expect your return soon. I can't hide the fact that I missed spending some time with you and the others".
Midoriya smiled and nodded his head, watching as Iida snapped his head to the direction the rest of the class had gone off to when a particularly loud sound was heard. With a groan, the boy immediately disappeared, rushing off into the hallway as his shouts of "silence" faded away. Both students chuckled slightly at that, with Izuku going over to sit next to Ochako once again, his hand trailing over hers until their hands were interlocked.
Silence spread among them for a while, though neither of them appeared to complain about it. It let a comforting feeling that both of them enjoyed. "So...why did you stay? Is there something on your mind?". It was Uraraka who broke the silence. Izuku shook his head, focused on looking everywhere else than on her. "No, not really. Just wanted to stay here for a while longer". She smiled. "Nothing is going to happen to me while I'm here, you know that". He nodded. "Of course. It's just feels right to stay". He brushed his thumb over her hand, having her tighten her hold on his. She let her eyes wonder on his hold on her, watching how she could she her own hand through his semi-transparent form.
"I know. I wish you could always be here. By my side I mean". Green eyes turn to look at her, meeting her brown ones as they stared at each other, getting lost in their eyes. "And who is stopping me?", he found himself asking before he had the chance to stop himself. His cheeks blushed red and his other hand shot over his mouth but he didn't dare look away from her. "You know you can't do that. Mr Aizawa will definitely not agree. And there are other people who want to spend time with you too. You can't just always stay with me. This is not what you want". She looked down sadly.
Izuku took the hand away from his mouth and slowly moved it toward her face, caressing her cheek slightly. He lifted her head so that she would look at his eyes again, though she kept averting his gaze. He sighed. "And what if that is what I want".
...
She kept silent, but her eyes had quickly snapped to stare back at him. The genuine smile on his face had her relax a little bit as she let her muscles untense. She felt her heart start beating faster as a blush now crept to her own face, her breathing becoming raged. "W-why would you sacrifice your life like that. Just to stay with me?". She had been able to recollect herself enough to ask that question and now, she waited patiently for him to answer. To her surprise, he chuckled slightly, the sound of his laugh filling her stomach with butterflies. "I'm already dead Ochako. I don't have a life to waste anymore. But even if I had...", he trailed off, his body leaning closer to hers. "...i would still choose to spent it with you", he whispered and her blush turned even deeper.
At that moment, Izuku seemed to realize what he had just said and went to pull away, his face having turned tomato red. But he found resistance. He glanced back at Uraraka, as she had been holding his hand, pulling his towards her and not letting him leave. He gulped slightly as he tried to make eye contact with her again, though her hair was casting a shadow over her eyes making it impossible to do so. "Y-you still didn't tell me why...", she let out pitifully, her voice barely a whisper. He glanced away again and brought a hand to scratch the back of his head.
