He was there. Finally, he had arrived and was know standing in front of the very place he knew, the person that dared to bring harm to his father waited for him. It wasn't easy to get there, no, of course it wasn't. No one in their right minds would have called it easy, especially considering that he had to go through that forest. At some point, he could have swored that he had felt the ground tremble, accompanied by the ever so powerful sound of footsteps, thundering. He was sure that then, everything was over. That he had reached the end of the line. He should have thought that UA would have thought about the possibility of someone trying to hide their scent after the villain incident and changed something in the way the place was being guarded. But he didn't, and he was sure that he was going to pay the consequences of his actions.
That was until they had fainted away, seemingly dissappearing along with wind, living the place in the tranquility it once had. He couldn't find words to explain how lucky he was. It was one at a million chance that the hero wouldn't head toward him, and as it seemed, it happened. After that, he couldn't say that he was faced with any serious obstacles. The wall was challenging, sure, but with his fire, he propelled himself light through the structure. The rest of the way was just child's play.
Until now. He had reached at last his so wanted destination. And he was going to fight with the final boss. The man with the blue flames of terror, that had costed millions of people to die, burn alive into the supposed hottest fire. He was determined. He was going to show to the man that all evil doers have the same fate at last. That the hero always wins, no matter how the odds are against him. Even if his hands couldn't stop moving, his breath was hitching and his heart was pumping hard in his chest, he wasn't going to back away. Everything was screaming danger, fight or flight responses on edge, knowing that the one that waited inside was a killer.
Though he felt the need to do this. That weight on his shoulders, the one that he felt that his father and dead friend have put upon him. Their faith in his power to carry on their dreams and protect the world. He had to fulfill his destiny, and become the man to bring back hope, something that was forgotten by many. He took in a breath, air entering his lungs and chest rising, before he exhailed. He focuser on the dumpster, its entrance to be exact, one feet at most separating him from entering his 'battlefield'.
"Should we stop him now?"
"No, not just yet Bakugou, we have to wait"
"Shut up four eyes! Why do I have to wait for!? See his body start to melt!?"
"Yeah, but if we go out now, he will know that we followed him and he will try to stop us!"
"Exactly my point. Good thinking Uraraka"
"Are you two idiots or something!? I ain't going anywhere even if he wants me to!"
"I wouldn't be so sure about that".All three of them froze in place. Sharing a look with each other, one that held absolute fear, they turned slowly their heads to be met with the disapproving, and someone angry expression of Todoroki.
At that very moment, Uraraka wanted to do nothing more that to face palm. They had given themselves away. After everything they have done to keep as quiet as possible while also be hidden out of the boys view, they had managed to give themselves away. She was sure, that if Deku was with them at that moment, he would have made a comment about how stupid they were. Starting an argument wasn't the best idea as it seemed. Either way, they know had to face the consequences of their actions. And if she had to guess by the look they were getting, something bad was going to happen.
Todoroki wasn't deaf. That was a fact that everyone know and could prove. So, how could he miss the angry shouts of the class's all so know 'angry pomeranian'. The first thought that went through his mind was surprise. He hadn't noticed him, neither whoever else was with him, because of course he couldn't be arguing with himself. He had alway thought himself as overly aware of his surroundings, a trait he had his father and the beating he would get for, and yet, he hadn't noticed until now, when he gave himself off. Either was the fact that he was overly focused on the task at hand, or the fact that they are very good at sneeking around that cause him to not find them, he will probably never know.
