With Gran Torino...
Izuku smiled kindly at his teacher, having previously heard him state that he trusted his friends. He knew he wasn't the kind of person who wouldn't help them and let them to the hands of the police. Uraraka and Shinso both sighed in relief and let their bodies relax. All of this had put a lot of pressure to them until finally the hero revealed that he was on their side.
They bowed in front of him. "Thank you sir. We promise that we will try our best to prove you that you didn't make the wrong choice believing in us". Gran Torino nodded at the purple haired boys words and a small smile formed to his lips. As the two of them rose up again the old hero glanced quickly at a clock that was hanging from a wall before he focused back at his new students.
"Now kids, I think we have wasted enough time already chit-chating. Villains don't wait for the heroes to come you know! So, come on. I want to learn your Quirks and hear an explanation of them. And quickly!". Midoriya sweat dropped at his words. 'He is just like I remember him, never wanting to take it slow when it comes to teaching'.
Uraraka took hesitantly a step forward, indicating that she will begin. "My quirk is called 'Zero Gravity'. It allows me to make any object I touch with all five of my fingers weightless. For the gravity affects to return to the object, I have to touch all of my fingers together".
She took hold of the phone in her pocket, touching all five fingers of her hand to it making it levitate for a while before canceling the affects of her quirk, showcasing that way how it works. Gran Torino took some time to take in all the information before he sharply nodded and turned to look at Shinso.
"My quirk is 'Brainwashing' and it does basically that. It allows me to control whoever answers to a question of mine. The only way for anyone to get out of it is by getting hit with a decent powered attack". Again, he nodded and then proceeded to slightly start adjusting his costume. "Your Quirks are very interesting if I may say. Does any of you has a provisional hero license?".
Uraraka raised her hand while the boy shook his head negatively. "Alright, we are doing this then. Come on hurry up and change into your costumes. I will be waiting for you here so we can leave for patrol" he said as he started to walk toward the exit of the building.
Izuku's eyes widen as his mouth was left to hang slightly open. The two teens seemed to have been taken aback as much as him after having heard the statement. Shinso's expression had soon turned into one of worry, looking at his teacher quite anxiously. After all, he had been just asked to go on a hero patrol, a real one, not an exercise, while he had never had any hero training before.
"Eee, sir, are you sure this is a good idea. I mean, I was not a hero student and I have no experience when it comes to saving nor helping people". Gran Torino smiled at the worried teen and waved him off. "Don't you worry kid. Everything is going to be fine. And I believe that there is not better way to be taught heroics than experiencing a situation first hand!".
Izuku didn't know why, but he had a bad felling about this. He glanced slightly at Uraraka to find the girl excitedly bouncing on the spot. He chuckled at the way his friend reacted to the news that they will be going on a patrol but could he really blame her? After all, if he was in hers position, he would have probably reacted the same way at the prospect of doing real hero work. He chose not to worry her with his worries.
Shinso sighed, still quite of unsure if that was a good idea. Either way, he had to follow what his new teacher had told him to do and so he grabbed Uraraka and started pulling her along with him so they could change into their hero costumes, snapping her out of her daydreaming state in the meantime. Grabbing each their respective suitcases, they went into different rooms into the appartment so they could put their gear on.
