Izuku once again raised his feet, ready to step on the villain. The power of One for All was coursing through his body, giving him the needed strength to make her pass out. He couldnt risk leaving Toga conscious. He was going to break Uraraka out of there, even if that meant he will be risking the safety of the rest of the world.
They were bound to find resistance to this task of his. After all, the league had put too much efford into catching her to let her leave that easily. He didnt want to have to worry about Toga recovering any time soon and coming for a surprise attack.
His friend had tried to stop him earlier, though now Uraraka just stood there and looked at him shocked, taken aback by his previous comment . Who would have known that such a simple sentence could have such an affect on a human? But Midoriya had spoken the truth to her and she was aware of that. That's why she was so shocked. Everyone knew the boy for his undying desire to protect the world, to become a hero who would save everyone, as hard as it might be. Though he stated to her, that she was more important to him than anybody else, even the poor civilians who may soon suffer from the consequences of his decision.
There was always the doubt on her mind that he didnt mean it. That it was because of his condition that he had said that. She was the only person to who he could open up fully after all. He couldnt express emotions toward other people, despite how much he has improved. So maybe, it was that that made him feel this way.
He stared at the villain for a while longer. He had doubts about what he was going to do. What if this was the wrong choice? What would happen then? He hated when he found himself at such situations. Sometimes, he wished that someone else could make the decisions for him. Everytime, whatever he did may spared a life at the moment, but then lead to a greater disaster. Was there even a correct choice he could take at situations like these?
For this one, probably not. Because either way, people get harmed and what is to follow is hard to imagine.
So, following what his heart thought as right was what he went with. Feelings are offen greater than logic. They are more trustworthy, even if they reflect selfish needs. He raised the presentage a bit higher than 20%. He didnt want to kill her. Not yet at least. He didnt know why but something inside him told him that it was not the time yet. He listened to his guts.
He was ready to deliver the blow. No more distractions. Or at least thats what he had hoped for. As he started to pull his foot down, he felt a familiar warmth surround him. He froze midway, feeling two hands forcefully grip into his shoulders. He flinched at the unexpected contact, but tried to mask it fully aware to whose the pressence he was at.
He turned around, his intention to see the predeccesor who interrupted him. He knew that if a great hero like them decided to interact with him, then there had to be a meaning behind this. Though, he was soon surprised to find not one, neither two, but five figures staring harshly at him. His eyes wondered among them, glancing at every figure specifically in order for him to find anyone he already knows. And he did, both Banjo and Shinomori who were also the ones that were keeping him still with their hold to his shoulders. Behind them, was another man, with short black hair who wore a strange costume that covered even his mouth. It reminded him pretty much of how Best Jeanist's hero costume was.
Then, further behind, there were two other figures. In contrast to the other three, they were covered in thick purple/black mist that blocked his view of hem. He could understand though that they appeared to have their backs turned on him, which was somehing unusual in his opinion.
Realizing for how long he had been worldlessly staring at them made him start sweating nervously. He turned away from them, ashamed of himself for not having greeted them for so long. ''H-Hello''. The glares he was recieving hardened immediately, causing him to start feeling uneasy. That's when he noticed that all of them were wearing angry expressions to their faces. He didnt know why, but it ticked him off to see them with something else than a smile on their faces.
