"Mrs Uravity, can I ask you something?".
After not more than a few seconds that the door had closed, Eri had rushed to Uraraka's side again, her eyes completely focused on the older student. The girl smiled kindly on her, nodding her head as she prompted her to continue.
As if she had lost the tiny bit of confidence she had gained, Eri turned to look at the ground. Alarmed, Uraraka's smile fell and worry washed over her. The young girl appeared unsure of whatever she wanted to say, contemplating hard if she should ask or not. Her small hands gripped tightly into the fabric of her dress, refusing to let go.
"You know, you can tell me anything you want Eri", said Ochako in an attempt to reassure her. And, to her relief, it seemed like it worked. At least somewhat. Slightly raising her head, Eri spared her a glance, before focusing back on the ground. She sighed. 'What is making her worry so much?'.
He looked at the door from where Mr Aizawa had previously disappeared through and shook her head. He will take a while to return and she couldn't interrupt him about something like that. 'I wish Izuku was here. He would know what to do'.
Carefully, she focused her attention back on the girl. Reluctantly, she moved her hand and slowly placed it on her shoulder. Eri flinched at the contact, obviously not expecting it. The way her whole body moved nearly had Uraraka pul her hand away. Her head shot up immediately and her eyes focused on Ochako's. Eri looked at her confused and she gave her a smile. She leaned in a bit closer, her voice soft as she spoke to the girl.
"It's all right. There is no need to worry. Take your time". She really hoped that was enough to ease her nerves. Eri nodded at her and the smallest trace of a smile appeared on her face. She made a step forward, coming even closer to her. "Mr Daku was a good friends of yours, right?". She knew that the young girl knew the answer to that already. She had even stated so herself while presenting her drawing.
She decided that the young girl was probably doubting her knowledge on the subject and rushed to reassure her. "Of course! Me and Izuku are the closest of friends!", '...and something more', she found herself thinking while blushing. Luckily for her, Eri didn't seem to take notice of the abnormal redness of her face.
"Can you tell me a story about him?"
Eri's request came to her as a surprise. Her eyes widen slightly as she looked at the young girl whose eyes were once again focused on the ground. Surely, from all the things she was expecting the girl to say, that was not it. She seriously wondered why she was so reluctant to ask to begin with.
'Oh, yeah, that's right...'. Her eyes softened some more as she remembered of the situation. Not everyone knew about Izuku. The young girl still believed he was dead and judging from the way she had seen all the people around her react to Midoriya's dissappearence, she couldn't really blame her for being reluctant.
"I asked Mr Mirio once, but he told me the only one he knew was the one where you all saved me. I wanted to ask dad too, but he told me not to. He said that he would get too sad and I don't want that".
Uraraka sighed once again. With a big smile, she turned toward Eri. "Well, I will be more that happy to tell you about his adventures. Say, why don't you climb into the bed?". She moved farther to the other side, giving the small girl enough room for her to sit on.
Eri's eyes widen, as she climbed to her side, coming to sit as close to her as possible. Uraraka chuckled slightly and Eri giggled. "Are you sure you are ready to listen to Mr Deku's adventures? Some of them are scary! Only grown up kids can be brave enough to listen to them!".
"Yes! I am ready!", she cheered happily. And just like that, Uraraka started reminiscing over Izuku's adventures during their time on UA. She even told her of a few she remembered Izuku telling her about from before that time, when they were up in that hospitals roof. Of course, she kept out any information related to One for All.
