He didn't answer to the girls shout. He just kept walking, hearing the sobs of his friend fade away as he went further away. Only when he was sure that they couldn't see him anymore did he let a tear roll down his cheek.

"Quite sensitive, aren't we hero?". That voice... He knew to whom it belong. He would never forget him, he had swored he wouldn't. The very man he met back in the summer camp, the one that dared to hurt his father. That voice of his had been in his nightmares for so long, haunting him around like a demon made of blue flames. But now, all the dreams he had had come to life, and in front of him, he stood, up in a pile of trash. His features were hardly recognized, a shadow casting over his whole body hiding him effectively from view, if it wasn't for the moon shining him deemly from behind.
His intimitating physic, seemed to tower over the young man. Sweat drenched his skin as he stared at the person he was after, finally being in front of him. It had been so long that he had been carving to have a fight with him, so long of him wanting to get some kind of revenge for all the pain he had caused. And yet now he stood frozen in place, too afraid to act. He tried to reason with himself, say he is a hero, and he should not be just standing there, that he should not be afraid. But nothing seemed to be reasonable enough for him to listen to.
A dark cackle echoed and the man liped off from the small mountain, landing perfectly on his two feet in front of the hero in training. Taken by surprise, Todoroki backed slightly away, something the villain seemed to enjoy. "You did made quite a scene outside. Is there something that I might be concerned of?" he asked with a too soft voice for everyone's liking, as you could feel the malishion lashing out of his words. A gulp, was heard from the teen as he persuaded himself to stand up straight. He locked eyes with the man, his dark Grey and blue, meeting the his own blue.
"It was... just a minor interaption. But it was taken care of" he answered back, choosing to not reveal the fact that his friends were frozen outside, vulnerable to whoever might come across them with bad intentions. A grin formed in the scared man's face. "Well that's good to know. Wouldn't want our fight to get interacted. Because it will have consequences" he hissed as he lighted his hand on fire. Turquoise flames danced around his skin as he handled the expertly with his hand, getting into a semifighting position in the meantime.
Todoroki followed right behind him, throwing his hands behind and getting ready to attack. He adjusted his position, and took in a deep breath, feeling the all too familiar power of his quirk raging inside of him. Exhaling, steam raised up from his mouth as an extra affect caused by the change of temperature in his body. "Just so you Dabi, you ain't winning this. I want allow anyone like you go around and harm people". "We will see about that, SHOTO TODOROKI!"
There was a pause, and then all hell went loose. Ice, erupted from the ground in a moments notice had created a huge glasier, covering a big part of the area in front of the boy. He stood expectantly, always on edge and waiting for his opponent strike. And then there was a sound. A terrible thundering sound was heard, coming from inside the giant wall of ice as cracks starting covering its surface. In a blast, a huge pillar of fire erupted from the middle, and the ice became millions of pieces, leaving behind the villain, hardly injured from this attack. You could see around him, the small river a water that had been created from the melting ice.
"Do you think I am that weak? Because that attempt of yours was totally pathetic. Let me saw you how it's really done". He took off running, enveloping himself in fire as he headed for Todoroki. Having earned a good momentum, he jumped, and smacked his hands on the ground, letting his flames escape from his grasp and like an axe head toward the teen. Seeing as he probably had no time to dodge that, the boy sang his left hand, letting his own crimson fire free, creating something like a shield in front of him. The flames smacked with each other but the villains seemed far superior as they completely overpowered Todoroki's and sent him flying.
