Inside one of the rooms in the big hospital in Fukuoka city, three kids sat silently at their beds, not daring to look at each other. They had just had their parents visit them and, if they had to say, it hadn't gone too well. They spent an hour or more hearing the angry adults scroll them about how irresponsible they had acted, as well as threatening them with making them drop out of the school. Because, apparently, in their eyes it seemed like the teachers had once again failed them this year, breaking the promise they made.

Todoroki, to all of their's surprise, seemed to be the one who was let off the hook easier. Though, if they had to guess, it must have been because Endeavor himself was a hero and understood better the hardships of this job. There was also the fact that he was still recovering, which must have played a big role at the fact that the hero let go of the fact that easily. For the other two however, that wasn't the case.

Uraraka's and Shinso's parents were furious. There was of course, the worry about their physical condition, but none of this mattered in front of the angry shouts against them and the punishments they were promised to get. And, if that wasn't enough, later on, a fight between the parents broke down. Not only theirs, but the other two unconscious children's parents too, blaming each other's kid for what had happened. The fight had gone as far as Endeavor to have to be dragged out of the room because he wasn't yet in condition to be put under so much pressure and the rest of the parents to be kicked out and sustained from entering again from the time being.

So, after all this chaos, the silence was like music to the trio's ears. As they tried to distract themselves from the event that had just occurred, the purple haired boy's thoughts, drifted back to the rooftop, the place were he had one of the strangest experiences of his life. He didn't know what he was supposed to believe anymore after this. As it seemed, this world was stranger than he had initially though. He was sure he had heard him, the soft and desperate voice of a friend of his he had lost unfairly.

That was Midoriya that had talked to him and yet, when his mentor had told him, he had thought that it was nothing more than a hallucination of his. But now, he had heard him too, talk loud and clear. From the intel Mr Aizawa had given him, he had managed to figure out that the boy had developed a second quirk. The way he did that, he didn't want to think about. And apparently, that quirk had somehow given him the ability to communicate with the living? He wasn't sure about what exactly it did.

He remembered the teacher telling him. But he hadn't believed him. So, he had just brushed it off, keeping his mind clear from unneeded information. 'Great going Shinso' he sarcastically congratulated himself. He felt like he was in the dark for what was happening. He couldn't understand anything that had to do with Midoriya's situation and in his mind, he felt like the boy owed him an explanation. Something at the very least that he could hold on in order to figure everything out.

He was already feeling bad for lieing to the detective. He had moved around the topic of the boy, and created lies to feel the gaps. Not having talked with him since then and with the only other person he knew that knew about the situation knocked out, he didn't know if he was supposed to talk about it or not. Midoriya's condition might be a classified information for all he knew.

He had chosen to wait and talk to him first. If he ever came back to have a talk that is. Because he didn't know how long he could keep the act up. When more and more information start to get gathered about the case, his statements would be proven fake and then he didn't know what he had to do. His morals and ethics were piling upon him as he started to doubt his decision. 'Did I really made the right choice when lieing?'. He hoped yes, because otherwise the punishment he was going to receive was going to be ten times worse.

"Shinso". At the sound of his name, he snapped his head to look upwards. His eyes met with the dual colored haired boy, looking curiously at him. "What?" he asked, his usual tired tone present. "Are you alright, you seemed to be deep in thoughts. Is there something bothering you?". The boy looked at him surprised for a moment, not having realized that he must have worried the others at how concentrated he looked. "No, I'm alright. Just taking in everything that happened you know. It was... something all this fiasco with the parents".
