Later...

Izuku passed through the doors of the common area, his eyes darting around the room until they came to a stop at the familiar form of the class representative. Iida was currently sitting along with a couple of their classmates in the sofas, all of them listening intensely as he went on about mathematics. It was a pretty much familiar setting for him to look at, since him and Yaoyorozu usually took it upon themselves to help the rest of the class in the subjects the struggled. He moved a bit closer, his feet levitating of the ground as he picked slightly at the book his friend held.

He smiled slightly. "Hey guys!". Iida snapped his head to his direction in almost record time, letting his shoulder slump down the moment he saw who has so suddenly greeted them. The rest of the classmates couldn't suppress the yelps that escaped their mouths at his proclaimation, having him start scratching the back of his head nervously. Sero sighed, throwing his book in front of him in annoyance. "Seriously dude, you have to stop scaring us like that!". Midoriya chuckled. "Yeah, I'm sorry". He let One for All serge through his body and the familiar green outline of his power surrounding him, letting the rest of the people present know of his location.

Iida smiled at him. "Ah, I see you have finally returned Midoriya". The boy nodded before turning his head to slightly glance at the direction of the door. "Yeah, Uraraka started to get sleepy so I had to leave. Recovery Girl also returned and kind of chased me away with her cane. Either way, what were you guys doing?". Kaminari waved his hand around, slightly gesturing at the book in front of him before sighing sadly.

"Iida was helping us with some of our homework. It was really a pain finishing all this up". Midoriya nodded as they all started to slowly gather their supplies. He raised an eyebrow. "You finished already?". Kirishima chuckled. "Oh, you bet. Iidabro really is the best". The class representative awkwardly scratched the back of his head at that, not truly used to receiving praise from others. "It truly is nothing guys. I'm really glad to know that you were able to understand the subject in the end. After all, it is my duty as a future hero to help others and that means starting with my own classmates when they need me help with their education!".

Everyone sweatdroped but didn't comment on the boys words, too used to his antics by now. Instead, they waved goodbye, each going their separate ways, leaving the two boys alone. "Say Midoriya, would you be interested to go running with me? Just like the old times". The boy turned to look at his friend and couldn't stop the smile that appeared to his face when he saw him smiling back at him. "Sure".

The two boys were soon found trailing around UA's perimeter, passing by the colossal building that housed the classes for each different course. Izuku could recognize that it had been a while since he had been out there training with his friend, even if it had only been running through the same path everyday, with Todoroki joining them on the odd occasion. He followed Iida closely, staying by his side as the male run, sweat dripping down his face while he levitate of the ground, adjusting his speed appropriately. "When I recommended us going for running, I must have miscalculated some things...".

Izuku chuckled as he slowed down, matching Iida's pace as the boy started walking, drinking through the bottle of water he had been carrying with him for a while now. He sighed as the cold water went down his throat, feeling satisfied only after he had drank half of the content of the bottle. "It would appear that running around together is no longer an option when it comes to training. At least for one of us". Midoriya smiled. "I really don't mind accompanying you on your runs Iida. I always appreciate spending time with a friend". Iida's expression turned stoic as he glanced of at their school's building, admiring the sheer size of it. "Even though, it would still be unfair for you. Just watching me train would cost you time from your own training. I cannot allow for myself to become a burden".
