I watched as Levi pulled a leaf off of one of the trees in the front yard, then started pacing around.

Me and Celean sat on the porch, getting irritable.

"The hell is he doing Amora?"

"How am I supposed to know?!"

Frederick came behind us both, laughing at Josiah who was constantly on some dumb shit.

"Nah, you really gave it to her like that?"

"Raw dogged it my nigga. She was holle-"

Celean shivered, "Gross. Shut the fuck up before I fight you Fred. You know you don't have no hoes."

"Bitch."

She got up and he quickly backed away.
"Damn chill sis, I'm playing."

Josiah paused, "So you really ain't get nun?"

I pursed my lips, trying not to laugh, and looked back to the front of the yard.
Levi was trying to get my attention.

I got up and walked over to him, "What?"

He ran a thumb over the hard leaf near my ear, "What does that sound like to you?"

"Uh...sand paper?"

"Perfect."

I scrunched my nose up by accident, "A leaf?"

"Nature has the best music, trust me," he said and handed me the leaf before searching the grass for any loose sticks.

"You look insane," I laughed.

He picked up some grass, feeling the strand between his fingers, before dropping it and picking up another, "If you were blind, you would find me wise."

"Really man?"

"Yeah," he said monotonously.

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

He was always so weird.

"Lev-"

"Shhh..." he said quickly.

I rose an eyebrow, "Um-"

"Shhh," he put a hand up.

I got quiet.
"Do you hear that?" he asked.

I literally heard nothing but arguing in the background. "Nope."

He pulled me down by my wrist, making me squat beside him.

"What the heck, Levi!"

He moved behind me and covered my eyes with his hands.

I was about to literally fist fight this man, but right then...I heard it.

The wind and birds chirping...then a loud silence.

Why was it so calming?

"Do you hear it now?" he asked.

"Yes actually."

He moved his hands from my eyes, "We'll be using that sound."

I watched him stand, "How are you going to capture the sound of wind? It's not like there's a tornado out here."

"You'll see."

Celean came up to us both, "Hey y'all what's going on? Have a plan?"

"Think I know what we need to do," he answered.
