"Damn these fresh, hol' up," Celean tried on a pair of air forces.

I only looked at her, confused. "Thought you said you had five pairs of those already?"

"Ain't ever stopped me," she waved her hand to shoo my comment away.

Milo was looking through flannels and sweaters. He'd most likely tear off the sleeves later with whatever he bought, being the rock n roll heartthrob he was.

I, on the other hand, had bought myself a pop tart, snacking as I watched them both go at it. I liked shopping to an extent, but for them it was like an addiction.

"Are you not going to get anything?" Milo asked me, twirling the spiked bracelet around his wrist a bit, which was surrounded by other colorful rope bracelets.

"Nope, on a budget. Have enough as is."

He rose an eyebrow, "I can buy you something if you'd like. Anything at all. Doesn't matter to me."

"That's nice Milo but I'm fi-"

"Y'all we should totally match tonight!" Celean squealed over me.

Oh, she corny corny.

Milo looked over at me again, shrugging, "I don't mind."

I gave in, "Sure I guess. What color?"

"Gray," she smirked.

"Why that dull ass color?!"

She crossed her arms and clicked her tongue, "It'll be lit, trust me."

"I'mma just wear sweats, the hell," Milo mumbled.

I held in a laugh, "Alright, whatever CeCe."

The three of us went to the park, walking along the trail as we ate ice cream.

Milo was double tasking, tending to his cone as well as reading a book. He was always studying for something, even if no assignments were due. I wouldn't be surprised if he typed up an essay while skating around the rink.

"So..." Celean took a scoop of her ice cream and placed it into her mouth, "I've told you about my hunches before, and I believe you like somebody, Amora."

Milo stopped reading even though he was still looking at his book.

"Nah..." I giggled nervously.

"Is it the black hair guy?" she smirked.

"Shut up CeCe! It's nothing okay?" I shoved another spoon of ice cream in my mouth.

"Hey that's what friend talk is for."

Friend talk?

I looked up at the ivy green trees. I knew I felt something for Levi, I was just too afraid to get attached. I didn't know how to manage my feelings quite yet. I'd probably be too sensitive.

People were always telling me that falling in love with a musician comes with hardships, and even more challenges if they're a rising superstar.

"Isn't that right Milo?" Celean continued.

He had gotten quieter than usual, "Yeah."

Celean quickly read the situation, "Do you have someone you like Milo?"

He closed his book and his cheeks turned red. The silver ring pierced through his nose was catching the glare of the sun. "It's...it's complicated."

I laughed, "Guess I'm not the only one."

He gave me a small smile, but I didn't recognize the sadness in his eyes.
