I stared at the ceiling, feeling the morning blues already.

I had gotten myself cleaned up and went through my closet, wondering what I should wear to go to Levi's.

Would it really matter? He's just him. Not like I liked him or anything...or did I?

I sighed aloud, "Damnit."

I gathered my outfit and looked at myself in the mirror before grabbing a mini bag and my phone to head out.

Celean requested to facetime me as I was approaching my car.

I got in and answered, starting the engine after placing my phone in the holder, "What's up?"

"Nothing much, girl. Are you free today?"

I hesitated, "Later, for sure."

"Cool. Cause I was thinking about going skating tonight. Apparently it's college kids free night."

My eyes widened and I nodded, "Damn. Haven't skated in a while, but anything if it's free."

She laughed, "Is that a yes?"

"Definitely."

"Ayeee! Okurrr. Maybe we might catch some boo thangs."

I gulped, "Look I'll go for fun but I'm not g-"

"Yes you is. Don't even."

I rolled my eyes.

I hated parties, but ended up saying yes to these shindigs nonetheless when it came to her.

"Hmm..." she hummed, "Where you off to miss girl?"

"No where."

She smirked, "Alright, alright. Fine don't tell me. I have my ways," she said and hung up.

"Wait what?!"

I pulled into the driveway of Levi's house, and saw him loading boxes onto the back of a truck, shirtless. All down his back was glistening with sweat, but under the sunshine it made him sparkle.

He turned and wiped the perspiration off his brow when he saw me.

I smiled and got out of the car, pulling the strap of my bag over my shoulder.

He grinned, "Morning, Amore."

Him and these stupid nicknames!

I watched Levi dust his hands off and I tried not to pay attention to his abs. "What are you doing?"

"I'm moving out in a week. Trying to get as much done as soon as I can, y'know?"

"Congrats," I smiled.

He laughed, "Thanks. You can head inside if you want to. I'll be inside in a moment."

I nodded and walked to the front door. The screen door was opened by a little girl. She had a towel around her neck and her hair was stuck in a wet afro.
