"Issues..?"
Levi nodded and cleared his throat, "You know I love you, right?"
"Yes..?" I responded, confused. Why would he even have to ask that?
"I'd never do anything to hurt you Amora. I mean that."
His words began to freak me out and I was contemplating on jumping out of the car at the next red light.
Celean's words about him being a secret murderer started to intrude my thoughts.
"I promise you Amora...anything I do is never to scare y-"
I unbuckled quicker than lightning, reaching for the door lock, and he threw his arm around me, "Amora what are you doing?!"
"You're freaking me out asswipe!"
His mouth fell open, and he tried to speak countless times, but nothing would come out. He was speechless at my attempt to literally jump out of a moving car.
"Buckle the hell up," he said after a moment.
I was hesitant.
"Now," he clarified.
I slowly placed the end of the buckle back into its holder, remaining silent.
"I apologize for freaking you out. I just don't want you to leave me...and I wanted to give you the information slowly."
I nodded, still daydreaming about escaping.
He cleared his throat, "I just have some anger flux to manage..."
I slapped my forehead, "Boiii! You made me think that you were about to unload a rifle on my ass?! That's it? Just anger management?!"
His cheeks turned pink, surprised I took the news in a different way, "You don't think of me any different for it?"
"Hell no."
"Hm," he smirked, "Well okay then."
I grabbed his hand on my thigh, sliding his ring off to place it on my finger. It was so big that I had to put it on my thumb. "What's it like?"
"Hm?"
"I'm guessing the appointment you meant is therapy, right?"
He looked at his ring on my finger, smiling to himself. "Yep."
"Does it work?"
He sighed and took his hand off the wheel, driving with his knee to run his hand through his hair.
Show off.
"Paying for it, so there better be some sort of change in me soon."
I started twirling his ring around my finger, thinking to myself.
I had always thought about going to therapy. I was just too afraid to let out my problems to a literal stranger. They get paid to give advice, but who said it was actually worth it and effective?
I felt Levi's fingers drum against my thigh, "You okay?"
I nodded.
"No you're not," he chuckled and pulled into my driveway. He turned off the car and I stayed put. "What? Don't want to leave me songbird?"
I looked at the 'FML' letters branded on his ring around my finger, "Do you hate your life Levi?"
He unbuckled and turned in his seat to face me, "Look at me baby."
I looked over at him and his lips immediately hit mine. Soft, smooth, and heart melting as always.
"I love my life," he whispered when he pulled away, watching my eyes open.
